I’m burning through this book! It’s early Stephen King (Salem’s Lot, Shining) meets Steel Magnolias. I’m saving the fifth star for when I’m done. It’s a very exciting page turner that I look forward to reading each night with the lights down low for

Thanks for the book recommendation! I've heard so many good reviews of The Hunger Games that I'm just going to have to break down and read it. Thanks!
Thanks for adding me Tess! If you ever need music for a film version of When Elephants Dance, I'm your go-to-guy! : )
Hi Tess! Thanks for the add! Hope you are having a wonderful spring!

I was just saying i had to go and visit Zachary's pizza in the Oakland this weekend. There's also Gaspari's in SF---which has like a side dish with anchovies and onions and some special sauce...
But if you're an ice cream fan FAIRFAX scoop in Marin has the best....

Hi Robin,
I may have been to one of the Book Expos before for my first book. Thank you for the information. I look forward to chatting with you. Ahh....lumpias. I miss those. My niece makes fantastic lumpias. I love them both the standard size and the tiny lumpia-shanghais that you dip in sweet and sour sauce.
Chat soon! Tess

Hello Tess,
I wanted to let you know about www.bookgroupexpo.com in hopes that you might be a featured author at one of the salons this fall at the San Jose book expo. Sally and I went last year and it was amazing. It seemed to be wonderful for the authors as well to talk about their work and have readers ask questions in the cozy, informal salon settings. You might already know about this event but thought I would pass it along. I am looking forward to the Mostly Literary Fiction Book Group discussion with you(on line) in April. I'm bringing lumpia to our Hayward book group discussion we are having in early April. Have a great week, Robin

Maraming salamat rin for your kind words. I'm sorry that I'm so late in responding. I tried to send a response through my phone when we "friended" one another back in December, but I see now that it didn't go through. I hope to deliver more stories to you in the future with Tagalog words.
