The Galaxy S24 series offers improvements over its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 series, including more efficient batteries, brighter screens, higher-quality cameras and all-around better specs that have vastly improved the phone's performance. Most notably, these phones are among the first to include generative AI capability directly in the device itself. That means you'll be able to use generative AI services anywhere, even when the device is offline. The phones are powered by Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which means performance for on-device AI should be both fast and dependable.

What is the best Galaxy S24 deal right now?
AT&T has an impressive trade-in deal for those that don't mind giving up their current phone. Both new and existing customers with an unlimited plan can save up to $1,000 in bill credits on the S24 Plus or Ultra with a trade-in valued at just $95 or more. If the phone is valued at $35 or higher, an eligible trade-in will still net you up to $800 in bill credits. And if you don't have a phone you can trade in, you can still save over $400 on the basic Galaxy S24 when you purchase the phone on an installment plan, which drops the price down to $11 per month.

Amazon is offering quite a few discounts on unlocked Galaxy S24 phones right now, but the savings vary depending on what model you're shopping for. Those after the basic Galaxy S24 can save up to $80, though only on the 256GB marble gray model, which is currently on sale for $780. If you want the midrange Galaxy S24 Plus, you can pick up the 256GB model for $800, a $100 discount, or upgrade to the 512GB model for as low as $898, a $222 discount. You can also grab the high-end Galaxy S24 Ultra for $225 off, which drops the 256GB model down to $1,075 and the 512GB model down to $1,195. Just note that discounts will differ depending the color variant, so be sure to double-check the price before you buy.
There are some serious savings available if you purchase your new Galaxy S24 phone from Samsung directly. These include $100 off the base S24 model, $200 off the S24 Plus and up to $540 off select colors of the S24 Ultra with no trade-in required.
If you do have an old phone or tablet to trade in, there are even bigger discounts you can take advantage of. Exchanging your old device will score you up to $540 off the basic S24, $600 off the S24 Plus and $750 off the S24 Ultra. Plus, Samsung is offering some extra discounts on its exclusive jade green, sapphire blue and sandstone orange color variants, which you can combine with your trade-in for an additional $120 off the S24 Plus or $240 off the S24 Ultra.
Best Buy's current Galaxy S24 offers include $200 off Plus and Ultra models, plus an extra $100 discount when you sign up with a carrier through Best Buy.
Plus, you can save up to an extra $440 when trading in an old device, allowing you to score major discounts.
If you have, or upgrade to, an eligible unlimited plan, you can save hundreds on Galaxy S24 phones right now at AT&T. The basic S24 starts at $11 per month when purchased on an installment plan, which saves you over $400 compared to the list price. You can also take advantage of advanced trade-in credit for serious discounts on the Galaxy S24 Plus and Ultra. Phones valued at just $95 or more will net you up to $1,000 in bill credits, while those valued at just $35 or more will still save you up to $800.
And if you need more than one new phone, AT&T is also offering discounts when you purchase two Galaxy phones on an installment plan. With this offer, you can grab the basic S24 for just $6 per month.
Like AT&T, Verizon is offering great deals on the new S24 series. Customers adding a new line on an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan will save $800 on the Galaxy S24, $820 on the Galaxy S24 Plus or $940 on the S24 Ultra. This can net you a free S24 or help you get massive savings on the Plus or Ultra. And while it's not required for this deal, Verizon does have its own trade-in program where you can score even more savings.
If you're looking to grab a deal from Xfinity, you can trade in another mobile device and save yourself up to $500 on the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. This is a great offer and a good chance to hold on to some of your money.
Spectrum doesn't have a huge discount on the base price of the S24 models. When you trade in any qualifying phone you will get an automatic $100 promotional discount. The phone you trade in needs to have a value greater than $1, so the odds are whatever phone you're using will get you something. Plus, you may get additional trade-in credit.
Google Fi is offering discounts on all S24 series phones when you switch to one of its phone plans. The S24 Ultra gets the biggest discounts, with up to $650 back with the purchase of an Unlimited Plus Plan or a Flexible plan or $250 off with other Fi plans. This discount appears as bill credits for 24 months. Prefer an S24? You can get up to $450 off, or opt for the S24 Plus for up to $550 back with select Fi plans.
Right now Mint Mobile has the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra all at a straightforward $50 discount, as long as you commit to a 12-month wireless plan.
