Becky Sattero

Becky Sattero joins WANF from Savannah, where she co-hosted two lifestyle shows for WTOC called Afternoon Break and, most recently, Morning Break. Prior to relocating to Savannah, she earned her MFA in creative writing and worked as a sports, entertainment, and lifestyle host for Emmy-award winning organizations such as The Los Angeles Clippers, The Los Angeles Kings, Pure Flix Entertainment, and more. She’s thrilled to be back in a thriving metropolis and ready to share stories spotlighting our community. In her spare time, she enjoys playing ice hockey, writing, archery, interior design, and playing with her vivacious golden retriever, Penny!

Jobina Fortson-Evans

Jobina Fortson-Evans is an accomplished journalist, recognized with multiple Emmy and Associated Press Awards. She is thrilled to be back in Atlanta telling stories in her hometown. Previously, Jobina served as a weekday morning anchor for ABC7 News (KGO-TV) in San Francisco, CA for the last five years, following brief roles as an anchor and reporter in Louisville, KY and Salisbury, MD.

A proud graduate of Howard University, Jobina’s dedication to journalism was evident early on. She earned the prestigious White House Correspondents’ Association Scholarship while studying at Howard. Jobina was honored to receive the award from then-President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. Beyond her journalistic pursuits, Jobina has a background in dance, with a hobby in lyra hoop and aerial silks. Though she no longer performs, she still enjoys hitting the dance floor whenever the opportunity arises!

In her spare time, Jobina is an avid explorer, indulging in her passions for culinary experiences and global travel. She’s visited every continent except Antarctica and is determined to check that destination off her list soon!
