Grey’s Anatomy Taps A Million Little Things Alum Floriana Lima to Deliver a Blast From Owen’s Past

The past is going to come crashing into the present for Grey’s Anatomy doc Owen in Season 21. A Million Little Things vet Floriana Lima has been cast as Nora, a childhood friend of Hunt and sister Megan’s, TVLine has confirmed.
Lima’s character, as first reported by our sister site Deadline, is described as a devoted mom and recent divorcée who is determined to survive not only for her kids’ sake but also so that she can see what her own next chapter holds. That will prove to be no mean feat when her arc begins on the long-running drama in the Thursday, Oct. 3, episode: Dangerous complications have arisen from a routine surgery performed at a hospital other than Grey Sloan.
In addition to A Million Little Things, Lima’s previous credits include the role of Supergirl‘s Maggie Sawyer, where she and Grey’s alum Chyler Leigh formed the supercouple dubbed #Sanvers.

I was hoping he was GONE
Most folks are, but I don’t blame the actor for this. They really write this character poorly.

I actually love Owen. He doesn’t deserve all this hate but he is the show’s punching bag. He is poorly written and some characters have done worsen than Owen but the show was interested in them writing a good redemption arcs and compelling stories. Kevin McKidd is great as an actor and a director
I love Kevin McKidd, but they really wrote this character into a corner as an awful person. Makes me extra sad because I love having Teddy back… but not married to Owen. She deserves so much more. They just keep shoving more of the Hunt family and backstory on us… blah. Give us more Bailey connections. Give us someone else from Link and Jo’s past. Give us someone tangential to the new interns.
All love I had for Teddy ended when they revealed she named her child with her late lover/cheater’s name without telling Owen the truth about it or thinking what her kid will feel like ‘Hi,my daughter I named you after my best friend who I used to cheat on our other friend with and I didn’t tell you father until years after I named you” Now I just can’t stand her, no amount of stories after made me liking her again.
Honestly They can make Hunt an interesting character again if they want. It happened with other characters.
I agree with you the new interns need to tangle with the old cast. I liked the tease of Link and Jules.
