Between 11:56 AM UTC and 12:01 PM UTC we experienced sudden spike in request rates for Automate dashboard and APIs.
During this time, Automate customers may have been unable to access the Automate Dashboard and APIs and have experienced related errors. There was no impact on running sessions or sessions starting on Automate hence no downtime was registered.
We began investigating the issue and the root cause around 11:56 AM after the request spikes were detected. At 12:00 PM, We identified that specific IPs were sending unusual high volume requests and began working on a mitigation path. By 12:02 PM UTC, we completely recovered the Automate dashboard and APIs. The service is operating normally now and we have further added preventative checks for the issue.
