X-Wing Rogue Squadron 15, also labeled as "The Warrior Princess, Chapter 3" is the fifteenth issue in the X-Wing: Rogue Squadron series of comics. It was released on January 1, 1997 by Dark Horse Comics.

Publisher's summary[]

Crown, crown—who's got the crown? Plourr Ilo has reluctantly taken it on, but finds being a princess can be even rougher than being a warrior. Her brother instead wants to destroy the crown, not knowing that his own lover intends to claim—not only the crown, but the planet—for herself! And as the different factions battle it out, the Empire waits in the wings, waiting to claim whatever remains. But standing in their way is the fabled Rogue Squadron—and they've decided to take out the Empire, one TIE fighter at a time!

Plot summary[]

Plourr and Count Rial Pernon ride thaks in the Eiattu 6 countryside as Plourr reminisces on her past. Plourr voices that she doesn't blame Pernon on the death of her family; Pernon voices his support for and confidence in Plourr as the planet's leader and only hopes she will allow him to remain by her side until their fight is won.

Rogue Squadron celebrates their recent victories and Wes Janson informs the others about the People's Liberation Battalion and their leader, Plourr's brother Harran. Though Wedge Antilles and Tycho Celchu have a meeting with the Priamsta and will be out of contact, Wes Janson and the other Rogues plan to search for the Imperial base in Eiattu's swamps. At the hidden Imperial base, Moff Leonia Tavria plans a trap for Rogue Squadron when they happen upon the facility.

At the meeting, Count Laabann implores Antilles to influence the struggle on Eiattu in favor of the noble-led Priamsta and by extension the Alliance. Antilles refuses, determined not to take sides and to stand by Plourr. Elsewhere in the countryside, Count Pernon maintains to Plourr that he loves her and will be her husband, as well as that it doesn't matter that she does not love him back. At that moment, the two are ambushed by a horde of black-clad, staff-wielding figures who demand that the princess comes quietly.

The other Rogues, led by Janson, search the swamps on foot for the Imperial base. Nrin Vakil spots a gray noise generator that hurts Dllr Nep's sensitive ears. The device explodes upon Vakil, sending him falling into the waters as Imperial stormtroopers surround and capture the others.

Plourr subdues her attackers with her fists just as Antilles and Celchu find them, and Pernon identifies the figures as members of the Priamsta likely sent by Count Laabann. This pushes Plourr to side with the PLB, but she asserts that their leader is not, in fact, her brother Harran, as she killed him with her own hands the night the rest of her family died.
