The V-6d mortar launcher was a support weapon manufactured by Merr-Sonn Munitions, Inc..[1] Used by the Galactic Empire's TIE pilots and Imperial Army pilots,[2] and Imperial commandos during a number of battlefronts throughout the Galactic Civil War,[3] the mortar launcher was capable of firing volleys of mortars into enemy lines, with a capacity of 5 grenades. The grenades could be configured to explode on contact or on a timer.[1]

The V-6d appears in the Star Wars: Battlefront video game series as an Imperial-affiliated weapon. The in-game model is shared with several other weapons and is similar in appearance to the T-21 light repeating blaster.
