"Sector HQ will not be happy about this, but we are going to need substantial reinforcements to pacify the Sepan system."
Imperial briefing officer[10]

The Sepan system, also known as the Dimok system,[8] was a star system located within the Sepan sector[1] in the Slice portion of the Expansion Region.[2]

Description[]

"The civil war that has ravaged your planets is over. It is time to lay down your arms. Join us, to rebuild all that was destroyed in this savage conflict. Even now, the process of repairing your planets has begun."
Harkov — (audio) Listen (file info)[10]

The Sepan system contained the planets Dimok,[3] Gaerboud IV,[4][5] Gerbaud 2,[3] Kuthard,[6][7] Ripoblus and Sepan 8.[3] It was also the site of the Deep Space Manufacturing Facility Sentinel[4][5] and the XQ1 Platform Youst.[8]

The Sepan system was home to the eponymous Sepan species,[9] sentient humanoids[10] divided between the peoples of Dimok and Ripoblus,[9] the two primary worlds of the system.[13][14]

History[]

"Now we have reports of fighting breaking out on Ripoblus."
"Why? Nobody in the Sepan system has any interest in the Confederation. I've had no intelligence—"
"They don't need any love for either cause. We've reached the free-for-all stage. What better time than during a civil war to resurrect their dispute with Dimok? Like a cantina brawl. One fight breaks out and everyone suddenly remembers they have a score to settle."
Cal Omas, Jacen Solo and Cha Niathal[12]

The Sepan system was the site of the Sepan Civil War, a conflict between the Dimoks and the Ripoblus which lasted intermittently for centuries.[11][10][12][6]

Behind the scenes[]
