System Lords Third Battle Group

The System Lords Third Battle Group is a Goa'uld militant organization fighting against Tau'ri and aims to restore their rule to the Milky Way galaxy. They became active following their fall from power which had formed roughly two years after the Ori was fully defeated. Their plan is to enslave the galaxy and conquer worlds. During the war with the Tau'ri, they were facing the Stargate Regiment 2 (SGR-2).

Background[]

Thousands of years ago an alien parasite, known as the Goa’uld, using the stargate network, created by an even more powerful race of aliens, discovered the Tau'ri on a primitive Earth, who were perfectly suited its needs, with highly-tuned sensory pleasures that sated their desire for experience and sensation. They enslaved humanity, populating much of the galaxy with this most desired host race, in small, primitive communities, that worshipped them as gods. Always warring amongst themselves, they formed a loose alliance of their most powerful members, known as the System Lords that ruled the galaxy unchallenged for thousands of years. In recent years, humanity has rediscovered the Stargate and its power. They were also reintroduced to the Goa'uld, who had long-since forgotten the birthplace of their slaves. Through direct confrontation and clever use of their distrust of one another, humanity defeated them and created a massive power vacuum. A number of minor Goa’uld soon arose, minor players for thousands of years, have now risen to claim their rightful mantle in a bid to dominate the entire galaxy. (Stargate Resistance)

A bid for power[]

Their first deployment was on Amarna, where they set up an ambush near a naquadah mine for SGR-2. However, if the Third Battle Group were able to secure the mine, the Tau'ri were able to escape. The Third Battle Group was then deployed on Piramess, where they started a planetary blockade, and searched Data Crystals that contained the schematics for a climate controller. Despite being able to collect half of the crystals, the ops was ultimately a failure, SGR-2 being able to reactivate the planetary defense and forcing the System Lords to retreat. When they captured a SG team, they were able to hack their GDO and gained access to the SGC. They sent an EMP device that took out all the Stargate security systems, including the iris. The System Lords then launched a full-scale invasion, aiming to deactivate the self-destruct system for good. But the Tau'ri to took the control room back and reactivated the security systems.(Stargate Resistance)

Their last known deployment was on Leonops. There they tried to find a resurrection technology, but their soldiers were trapped in the Temple, where they were forced to fight the Tau'ri, dying by the hand of their enemies and being resurrected by the Temple. Finally, their soldier were teleported back to their ship, the battle ending with a tie. (Stargate Resistance)

• Ashrak: Dis’Ma-te Sa’Bryee
