Videos now take between 30 seconds to a minute to load. This level of delay was not present in older versions. I'm not sure if this is an issue with an ad getting cued up or something else, but I find myself dumping out of many attempts to watch a video because I don't feel like waiting. I think this is especially important to resolve since it looks like CNN is now pushing more video based content on their phone app.

I wish I could give this app zero stars. Only about 10% of the content is useful to me. TOO MANY VIDEOS! Ads are taking over. Please limit ads to 15 s max. It's ridiculous to have a 30 s ad before every video clip. I really didn't even want the damn videos, would much rather just have text to read. If you post a video you should also post a transcript for those who can't watch it or are hearing impaired.

Wished CNN News app would bring back long-press ability to highlight a word we want to define! Readers don't know every single word used, and we used to be able to do what I mentioned; but NOW we have to either remember the word or write it down to them open up an app to type it in! BEFORE we could long-press, highlight, copy, open dictionary app (or long-press has it's own list of apps), paste the word in and BINGO! Not so simple anymore- BOO a BIG BOO!
