It's marginally more convenient than using a browser to do the same thing. However, no matter how many options I turn off for notifications, I keep getting notifications I don't care about. Also, I really don't think it's worth it to watch a 30 second ad every time I want to see a single highlight. YouTube, as bad as it's gotten with ads, let's me watch a whole game's or week's worth of highlights for the same ad time as one highlight from espn.

Very annoying .. I try over and over to log in with my provider and once I click approve on the provider it loops me back into log in. I've cleared the cache on the app, my provider's app , deleted the espn app and reinstalled it. Google pixel 8 with all of the updates. It's a problem that others are having as there are websites and videos of people trying to get the lump of software to work. I never was able to watch the program . It's a turd.

The app is pretty awful. While I can use it to get scores, selecting a push notification to open a video always results in the app crashing or just buffering indefinitely. pages take way too long to load. Also, I understand advertising, but having to watch a 30-60 second ad before every clip is kind of annoying, especially when most clips are only a few seconds long.
