‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 33 cast revealed: Tori Spelling, Dwight Howard, Brooks Nader and more celebs
The official lineup for Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” is finally here!
The names of the 13 celebrities vying for this year’s Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy were revealed during “Good Morning America” Wednesday, with stars like Tori Spelling, Dwight Howard, Phaedra Parks and Anna Delvey all making the cut.

Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov
The “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum will be making her highly anticipated ballroom debut this fall.
The casting decision is one many longtime “DWTS” fans will certainly be thrilled about as they’ve been throwing her name in the ring as a “dream” contestant for years.
Plus, the 51-year-old actress is already well-connected to the show as her former co-star Brian Austin Green competed on Season 30 of the hit ABC series with now-fiancée Sharna Burgess.
Jenn Tran and Sasha Farber
Fresh off her leading role as “The Bachelorette,” the reality TV star will be trading in roses for the rumba.
Tran, 26, follows in the footsteps of Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown and Charity Lawson, whom have all competed for the coveted mirrorball in past seasons.
Bristowe and Brown both finished first with their respective partners, Artem Chigvintsev and Alan Bersten, while Lawson placed fourth with Chigvintsev last fall.
Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson
Why have one star from the Bachelor franchise when you can have two?
Also joining the Season 33 “DWTS” cast is Graziadei, 29, who starred as “The Bachelor” for Season 28.
He’s in good hands with his pro partner, who previously competed with Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile during Season 27 of the dance competition series. Johnson won the previous season with Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon.
Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko
We have a feeling this Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model will be one to watch this season, especially knowing she’s paired up with Savchenko, whose creative choreography will likely reflect Nader’s fun and charming personality.
The brunette beauty made her SI Swimsuit debut in 2019 and has been gracing the pages of the popular glossy ever since.
In addition to her modeling gigs, Nader, 27, has also recently been making headlines for her dating life. Page Six reported back in July that she’s been “casually dating” NFL legend Tom Brady.
Danny Amendola and Witney Carson
“DWTS” producers have tapped many former NFL stars in the past, and this season is no exception.
Amendola, 38, played 13 seasons in the league as a wide receiver and took home two Super Bowl wins with Brady and the New England Patriots. After retiring in 2021, he was inducted into the Texas Tech Red Raiders Hall of Fame in 2024.
The athlete will compete with former mirrorball champion Carson, who is making her highly anticipated return as a pro this season after a two-year hiatus.
Dwight Howard and Daniella Karagach
With 19 years of professional basketball experience under his belt, the NBA star, 38, is considered to be one of the greatest defensive players of all-time.
Some of his many accolades include: eight-time NBA All-Star, eight-time All-NBA Team member, five-time All-Defensive Team member and a three-time Defensive Player of the Year.
Howard – who has played with teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets and more – notably holds the record for having the most dunks in NBA history. He’s also the only player in league history to earn the honor of Defensive Player of the Year for three consecutive seasons.
As for his pro partner? Fan-favorite dancer Karagach won Season 30 (her second season as a pro) with fellow NBA star Iman Shumpert in 2021.
Phaedra Parks and Val Chmerkovskiy
Like with Spelling, many “DWTS” fans have been wondering whether the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star would ever join the dance competition show – and this season, it’s finally happening.
We think it’s safe to say her chances of going far in the competition are high as Parks, 50, is teamed up with the show’s reigning champion.
Chmerkovskiy took home the Season 32 trophy with actress Xochitl Gomez last fall after previously winning with Rumer Willis (Season 20) and Laurie Hernandez (Season 23).
Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten
Ever since the 2024 Paris Olympics went down, fans have been expressing their hope that they’d see this witty rugby player (and viral sensation) on the lineup.
Maher, 28, is a Team USA Rugby Sevens bronze medalist and two-time Olympian, having represented the United States in Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020.
She also recently made headlines for starring on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s September digital issue.
Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong
Although she’s best known for starring in TV shows like “Girl Meets World” and “K.C. Undercover,” this actress is entering the competition with some dance training under her belt.
Kinney, 24, previously studied at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy and the Los Angeles Ballet Academy.
Aside from her upcoming gig on “DWTS,” fans can also catch Kinney starring in the HBO Max series “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” and “Pretty Little Liars: Summer School.”
Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart
The 68-year-old actor has earned multiple Golden Globe nominations and an Oscar nomination over the years, but does he have what it takes to win “DWTS?”
In addition to his roles in films like “King of the Gypsies,” “Star 80” and “Runaway Train,” fans may also recognize him as the brother of actress Julia Roberts and father to “American Horror Story” and “Scream Queens” star Emma Roberts.
He’s also made appearances in various music videos over the years for artists like Ja Rule, Mariah Carey and Rihanna.
Reginald VelJohnson and Emma Slater
Another actor who will be showing off his dance skills this season is 72-year-old VelJohnson, best known as the iconic TV dad from the beloved sitcom “Family Matters.”
He’s also well known for portraying Al Powell in “Die Hard” and “Die Hard 2,” with appearances in other notable projects like “Avengers: Endgame,” “The Prayer Box,” “Station 19” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.”
We can’t wait to see VelJohnson’s funny personality shine through on the dance floor with help from his pro partner’s stellar choreography.
Anna Delvey and Ezra Sosa
Page Six confirmed earlier this month that the “Fake Heiress”-turned-fashion-publicist would be putting on her dancing shoes.
The famous con artist (real name: Anna Sorokin) was the subject of Netflix’s “Inventing Anna” after serving time in prison in 2019 for posing as a German heiress who conned businesses and individuals out of more than $250,000 from 2013 to 2017.
Delvey, now 33, has been under house arrest since 2022. The terms were recently relaxed, however, as we previously reported she’s been given special permission to take part in “DWTS” and travel to Los Angeles where the show is filmed. She’s paired with first-time pro Sosa, who has been promoted from the troupe this season.
Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold
The Olympic gymnast was the first official celebrity to be announced as a contestant for Season 33. During his appearance on “GMA” last month, he teased, “I’m very excited. I’m hoping to bring some [gymnastics] moves … I want to have fun with it.”
The 25-year-old athlete will certainly be one to watch if his historic pommel horse performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics is any indication of the skills he’s planning to bring to the ballroom.
The all-new season of “Dancing With the Stars,” co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, premieres Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
