Brawling charges dropped against LL Cool J’s son

A judge Thursday knocked out trespassing and harassment charges against LL Cool J’s son that stemmed from an alleged drunken brawl at a Meatpacking District nightclub.

“The people are moving to dismiss this case as we cannot prove it beyond a reasonable doubt,” said prosecutor Hannah Yu as Najee Smith, 26, stood beside his defense lawyer wearing all black.

“The case is dismissed and sealed,” ordered Judge Laurie Peterson.

Smith declined to comment as he left Manhattan Criminal Court.

“It’s amazing that a person has to go through all this nonsense when his case is dismissed,” said his defense lawyer, Marvin Kornberg.

Smith was inside Catch Roof on Ninth Avenue and 13th Street at 3:15 a.m. Sept. 29 when he allegedly got into a fight with a rowdy group of men, sources said.

Smith allegedly pushed one of the men twice, according to the criminal complaint.

Security tried to break up the melee, but Smith — who was celebrating his birthday — allegedly became combative as they escorted him from the club, a source said.

His 47-year-old dad, born James Todd Smith in Queens, currently stars in “NCIS: Los Angeles” and is famous for such ’90s rap hits as “Mama Said Knock You Out” and “Ain’t Nobody.”
