Where is the cast of ‘Laguna Beach’ now?

Let’s go back, back to the beginning.

In 2004, MTV plucked a handful of Southern California high schoolers from oblivion and turned them into overnight celebrities with the debut of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County.”

Starring then-unknowns Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, the docu-series centered on the girls as they balanced academics and extracurricular activities.

While the show eventually spawned the übersuccessful spinoff “The Hills,” these days the cast is spending less time in front of the camera. With Cavallari expecting baby No. 3 and Conrad enjoying newlywed bliss, let’s check in on the California kids as their 10-year reunion draws near.

As the star of Season 1, Conrad broke out as the relatable “nice girl,” whom the cameras eventually followed down to LA on “The Hills.” The 29-year-old officially said goodbye to reality TV in 2009, opting to focus on novels, fashion lines and beauty blogs. She tied the knot with former Something Corporate rocker William Tell in September 2014.

Stephen Colletti

As Conrad and Cavallari’s first love, Colletti played the role of “the man in the middle.” Following a stint at San Francisco State University, the Newport Beach native gave acting a shot by appearing as Chase Adams on the long-running CW series “One Tree Hill.” Hayden Panettierre and Chelsea Kane are exes, though Colletti is keeping his love life out of the spotlight these days.

Laguna’s very own heartbreaker, Cavallari gave Conrad a run for her money as the show’s star. Following her high school graduation in 2005, the blonde became a fixture on the small screen with minor roles in “Veronica Mars” and “CSI: NY.”

After Conrad’s departure from “The Hills,” Cavallari stepped into the central role. Like her former frenemy, Jay Cutler’s better half now balances her time between fashion endeavors and raising her two (soon to be three) kids.

Jason Wahler

Unlike his peers, Wahler’s 15 minutes of fame were rocky. Following Season 2, Wahler made the trek to LA to rekindle his romance with Conrad. But the pair couldn’t make their love last, and the 28-year-old fell on hard times. Between multiple arrests and rehab stints, Wahler eventually got sober before marrying girlfriend Ashley Slack in 2013.

Lo Bosworth

Where would Conrad be today without her best pal Bosworth? The UCLA grad spent a few extra years on “The Hills” without her BFF before heading east to the Big Apple. Like Conrad, Bosworth set her sights on the Web, launching a lifestyle venture called the Lo Down in 2010.

Three years later, she co-founded Revelry House, a site about entertaining. When she’s not posting beauty-centric vids on YouTube, the blue-eyed beauty is uploading selfies and snaps of sweet treats to Instagram.

Talan Torriero

Instead of following his former classmates to college, Torriero went the engagement route instead. He popped the question to Kimberly Stewart in November 2005, but the pair called off the wedding within the same month.

Torriero also gave Hollywood a try, starring in flicks like “American High School” and “Senior Skip Day,” before eventually landing a full-time gig as a creative producer at the LA-based TMG Digital. He and wife Danielle Torriero wed in June 2014.

Jessica Smith

Most former “Laguna Beach”-ers fled to Tinseltown upon graduation, but Smith stuck around SoCal for a little while longer. Like her ex Wahler, she would end up on the wrong side of the law and was busted for a DUI in 2007.

While she didn’t make an appearance on “Celebrity Rehab” with her former beau, Smith did find her happily-ever-after in the form of now-hubby Michael Evans and their three children.

Trey Phillips

Perhaps Conrad should have followed Phillips to Parsons instead of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising with Heidi Montag. Known as “the serious one” of the group, Phillips made his way to the East Coast after graduating from high school in 2004. After graduating Parsons in 2010, the creative mind became an associate designer for Vera Wang. He and Conrad are still close.

OK — she wasn’t an official cast member, but Montag popped up time and time again during “Laguna’s” sophomore season — pre-boob, -nose, and -everything job. (Oh, and she’s still with Spencer Pratt.)
