Ruth Chiang is a stuntwoman and stunt actress who played a Kiley scientist in the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds first season episode "Strange New Worlds". She also performed stunts in the Star Trek: Discovery episodes "Through the Valley of Shadows", "Such Sweet Sorrow", "Such Sweet Sorrow, Part 2", and "That Hope Is You, Part 2". She received no credit for her work.
She also served as stunt safety on the Star Trek: Short Treks episodes "Q&A" and "Children of Mars".
She is married to Discovery stunt coordinator Christopher McGuire and is also known as Ruth Chiang McGuire.
