Crewman Gennaro was a Starfleet officer serving aboard the USS Voyager under Captain Kathryn Janeway. He was among the crew to survive the vessel's transport to the Delta Quadrant in 2371.
In 2373, Gennaro discovered Ensign Molina unconscious in engineering during the Nyrian takeover. He was the next to last of the crewmembers to be translocated off Voyager. When Chakotay realized that he and Gennaro were the last of the crew aboard, they focused their efforts on sabotaging Voyager before they too were transported from the vessel. (VOY: "Displaced")
