History
Loki shared a similar history to his Prime Universe counterpart until he transported the X-Men and New Mutants to Asgard. When Wolfsbane revealed she wanted to stay, Cyclops suggested a vote on whether they should stay or leave. Initially Loki stated that if one stayed they all stayed, but after casting their vote he allowed those to stay who wanted to in order to gain favor with Those Who Sit Above in Shadow. Whilst Loki had Thor trapped on Earth as a frog, he attempted to have Storm become ruler of Asgard. However, Thor returned and kidnapped Loki, which ultimatly lead to war between multiple forces of the nine realms. During this battle, Those Who Sit Above in Shadow arrived and took Loki and punished him for his crimes by placing him the far future, to rule Asgard as it fell into a black hole, driving Loki mad.[1]
