2. Canada day: Read a book set in Canada, with a Canadian character, or an author who is Canadian.
3. July themed read: Read a book on your to-read list by an author whose first or last name ends with J, U, L, or Y. If there isn't one, read a book whose title starts with one of those letters.
4. I Forgot Day: In honor of I forgot day, read a book on your to-do list that you had forgotten was on there.
5. Disobedience Day: Read a book that involves disobedience. If you interested in non-fiction books about pacifist movements and such would count. For Romance readers, a book with any character that goes against societies norm will work (rakes, unwed mothers, etc.). For fans of paranormal, almost any shifter story will do because lets face, they all have alpha males. And where there is an alpha male, there is a woman willing to disobey him.
6. Independence Day: This is a pretty broad category. Read any book that you feel honors the spirit or memory of Independence Day. Some ideas: Nonfiction recollections, any book written or set in this time period, books involving characters who serve our country, etc.
7. National Nude Day: In honor stripping down, take any book off your to-read list.
