Did I Seriously Just Get Reincarnated as My Gag Character?! Volume 2

Rate this book
After saving Free Market City from an army of monsters and a confused fire dragon, Nacht and Aisha are living the high life! Now famous heroes, they’ve become the talk of the town and have nobles waiting on them hand and foot. The kingdom’s second princess herself is even requesting a meeting with them—no doubt to discuss the war rumored to be brewing with the neighboring kingdom of Estoll.

But Nacht has zero interest in being drawn into human politics. She’d much rather track down Aisha’s missing mother, the elf Floria. Maybe she can help Aisha find closure by finding the woman who abandoned her long ago.

A decent read, but not the best character development.

I love the over all story, witty plot, and various types of shenanigans that the characters get into. However almost all of the characters slotted to be main or sub main characters wind up having pretty much the same personalities and very little if any development within the bounds of these two volumes so far. While this is a minor flaw in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't exactly inspire faith that it'll get better as time progresses. However, if this remains the series only flaw then you can count me as a very happy reader. Over all the story itself is a 5 star read. The only thing deducting a star is the afore mentioned characters flaw. So if you can get over a cast of nearly cookie cutter main characters then this book series is greatly suggested. Personally I can't wait for the next installments!

A lot of improvement from volume 1. Decent story with an actual mistery. Volume 3 two years overdew. Maybe this will be the last volume
