F**k it, I'm going to write a negative review.
Shallow and eye-rollingly repetitive, this has to be the worst "self help" book ever written.
Sure, if you're a "yes" person who lives for the approval of others and always puts everyone else's needs first, then this might be the kick up the bum you need to start ignoring your mother-in-law's demands to treat her son right and instead sit and eat a whole packet of chocolate biscuits and binge-watch that series on netflix that your sister disapproves of (and yes these things are in fact recommended in the book).
However if the problems in your life can't really be solved by ignoring them and hoping they go away, this is the most terrible advice I've ever had the displeasure of reading.
This book, in its own words can go f**k right off.

Instructions unclear, I was the one fucked.
But nah, all jokes aside, this book was really important for me. As someone who generally is all rather worrisome, right from the start, it struck a chord. It resonated with me. Hard. Right at the beginning, it gives an example of a woman just telling her rude, lazy-ass boyfriend to go take a hike, maybe because she wants some alone time, mostly just because she feels like it, and I was immediately struck with that sort of empowerment, and that desire to just go do something like that and speak my mind. And it's empowering all throughout. Although, I suppose I must dock a star due to the fact that it, progressively slows down, and spends some time repeating stuff you already know, but for the most part, I can let it slide, because it's just that important to reiterate. I, don't even know what much else to say 'bout it. Give it a try, I think it could help a ton of people, y'know?

A nice update to the book

This is the updated and revised edition of the book and it was good for the most part. I enjoyed learning more of what was happening in the author's life. However, for the most part other than the meditations there wasn’t anything new here. Just learn to say ‘F**k It’ and let go is what you’ll learn here.
