Piñata: a short story

Rate this book
The first in a series of evocative original fiction singles by novelist, screenwriter and short fiction writer Marnie Woodrow, Piñata is a touching story of belonging, grief and healing inspired by the author's travels in Mexico. While not set in Mexico, the cultural impact is most definitely present. The first published fiction from Woodrow since the release of her award-winning novel, Heyday.

A Raw Account Of Manoeuvring Childhood

I loved the flow of the story. As well as the vivid realism delivered through relatable characters, in so few words.

A great tale of heartbreak and survival by whatever means necessary.
