I began writing in 2010 while sailing down the freeway in our RV. I love to place my characters in unlikely situations where escape is questionable, yet freedom is possible through God's power and His Word. I'm a retired teacher turned author and live with my husband in beautiful Alabama.

Can we say Wow!! Oh what a book. This book keeps you wandering and asking yourself, I wander what will happen next. I just loved everything about this book. This was Book 1 so I can't wait to read the other books.
I was just introduced to the author June Foster by starting to read her books online. I never met this author personally although that is one of my goals now that I have read her books and really books. Actually, I like to try different authors to see if I like them. I really liked June Foster as an author.
Thanks June Foster for writing such good books. Keep up the good work. May God Bless You.

For All Eternity by June Foster is a Christian contemporary romance novel tinged with religious tension and an unlikely end that speaks of the need for salvation and forgiveness in Jesus Christ. This is truly a must read book.

A surprise encounter leaves JD wondering about Joella, the beautiful woman who mowed him down on a bike trail. Intent on keeping the relationship just as a friendly one, JD tells himself; although he can’t get over the peace that emanates from her presence. JD finds Joella and her feminine beauty to be irresistible, even though the constant scolding from his father to “get a new perspective” on life, makes him wonder if Joella could ever be the right choice. He longs for that peace that Joella possesses, and consequently realizes that a person can’t fill the deep void inside.

Joella, a interior designer, brings delight to the novel as a young at heart church girl, presenting the charm of a budding romance, this novel keeps readers glued to the pages. I was constantly wonder what the next page would bring.

As time passes and sparks fly, there are decisions to make and expectations each character has, especially for JD. His strict religious upbringing has taught him not to be interested in anyone outside of his church. Yet, he can’t deny his interest in Joella. As this budding romance develops with some twists and turns, the author has coupled the scenes with an idyllic setting of family, home and country charm.

June Foster captures emotions and brings surprise encounters into a well-developed inspirational themed book blended with the romance of true love. First encounters, butterflies, and heart pounding emotions develop into a deep respect and love in this Christian fictional romance that is sure to uplift its readers.

3.5 stars (3 on Goodreads, 4 on Amazon) This is the first novel I've read by this author. I like her writing style, which makes for a smooth, easy read. Going in, I was aware that this was Christian fiction, but another first for me was that the main conflict and the plot actually revolved around the main characters' religions. So if a reader does not appreciate Christianity, this might not be the novel for him or her. A few areas involving the main characters' family members and clients didn't interest me, but I enjoyed the romance and look forward to reading more romance from this author.

Possible spoilers...
I really enjoyed this book more than I expected. It was hard to put it down at times. The characters and life situations were so true to life. At times you do wonder if she is saying that the other religion mentioned in this book is the "real" or "the truth", but keep reading...my favorite thing about this book is that the author knows that Jesus is the Only ONE TRUE way to God, and displays it so brilliantly in this book.

Good read

As a Christian, this book had me on the edge of my seat. Part of the way through it, I amost put it down as a DNF (did not finish) but I wanted to give it an fair chance. I'm so glad I stuck it outto the end. This was a really good ending and a great representation of my beliefs. Well done, Ms. Foster.

Excellent

What a wonderful story of how one guy discovered that Jesus was the true God of our lives. The Lord allowed him to meet a young lady who led him to meet his savior. A wonderful romance story.

"For All Eternity"by June Foster is the first book in the "Almond Tree Series" and once again she has written a great story. June Foster's book has a way of making you feel you are are actually reading a real person's story. You found yourself hoping and yes even praying for the characters while you are reading, (especially if you really get involved in the story lines like this reader does and with June's Foster's book it happens naturally right from the first few chapters.) I have read all of her books but one and it is my to be read list.
When Joella Crawford and JD Neilson meet in an accident ( funny one involving a bicycle) they are instantly attracted to each other but there is a problem, well isn't that just like real life. lol
The problem is Joella is a Christian and believes in the one true God and JD belonges to the Exalted Brethren Church. I had never heard of this church before and even though the author doesn't go into great details about this church and it's beliefs she does give enough details to make readers understand the conflicts Joella and JD have without interrupting the storyline!
This book shows how when you let someone believe something about you that isn't true just so you can get something you want how it doesn't turn out the way you wished.
This book is about forgiveness and love. It is full of surprises and it shows that life doesn't always have happy endings. Now with that last sentence I am not saying that JD and Joella don't have a happy ending nor am I saying they do. Guess if you want to know how it ends, you are going to have to read the book! I highly recommend all of June's Foster's books.
If you do read the book I know you will be like me and anxiously awaiting book 2 in this series because it is about two of the other characters in " For All Eternity".
"For All Eternity" is getting five stars.
I was given a copy of the book "For All Eternity" for an honest review

Joella Crawford is an interior designer and devout Christian. JD Neilson is an accountant and member of the Exalted Brethren church, a cult devoid of biblical teaching and beliefs. Their lives literally collide on the walking/bike path on campus. Both share strong moral values and are devoted to their respective faith walks, and both hold deep secrets that could ruin any chance for a future relationship.

I had a difficult time getting started in this book, but just as I questioned whether I wanted to continue reading the story took hold and held my attention to the very end. June Foster paints a vivid picture of the Exalted Brethren and how the family unit is affected throughout a lifetime as a member of the cult. As strong Christian values and beliefs compare many lives are affected by the differences between those beliefs.

The author built upon her characters' beliefs and expectations for their respective futures. Additionally, family members and friends were an integral part of this story, holding true to the values of their faith and beliefs. A story of conflict and an emotional roller coaster kept me questioning JD's motives and his deception where Joella was concerned. There were times that I was disgusted with JD and found him to be far from the man we meet in the beginning of this book.

If you love Christian fiction, you'll thoroughly enjoy this book of faith and Christian convictions. It is well written and brings out the differences and strengths in the lives of Christians versus non-Christians. I was a bit distracted with a lack of some additional editing, but it didn't detract from the story. I rated this book 4 stars.

A Life Changed!

This book is different from any other book I have ever read. Two beautiful people believing in different Gods. One worshiped a loving God, the other worshiped a God that expected you to earn your way into Heaven. This was one interesting story.

There are several twists and turns in this story that you will enjoy. I felt I knew how the end would turn out but I was tempted to read the end to see if I was right. I did not give in to the temptation to peek. Did it turn out the way I thought it would? I guess you will just have to pick up a copy of this book and find out.

Author June Foster's strong faith in God is portrayed on nearly every page. I admire her for that and was very pleased.

Come along and read JD and Joella's story. I highly recommend this book. I hope to read more by this author.

I'm reviewing a book today for a lady who has to be one of the world's sweetest authors, and her writing reflects her personality so very well. This sweet romance has all the elements in it: One woman, one man, and...oops, another woman...and yep, a huge barrier to their romance.

Joella Crawford is an interior decorator with a secret in her past. JD Neilson is a CPA with a deception in his present life. When Joella finds out this deception, she's devastated. His religion, a really weird cult, forbids their romance. Her beliefs agree with that notion. They back away from each other at top speed, but they forget to bring their hearts into that decision. Bot.h of them remain joined at the heart, despite JD's engagement to another woman from his own church.

It's a quandary you really should buy the book to help them resolve, okay? Available from Amazon, and Barnes and Noble.

What a good book! I have had this book for a while and the busyness of life just has kept me from reading it, but what a mistake. I know I say this about every new book June puts out but this is my favorite work of hers to date. I loved the characters JD and Joella were characters I could relate to and be happy to have as friends. I can only imagine the research that went into this book, to write about a false religion with such details. I just have to say KUDOS to June for a job well done, a great story, great writing, and great research. 5 stars from this reviewer. This book was provided for review purposes only, no payment was received for this review. I can't wait to read Echoes from the Past Book 2 in this Series which released this past weekend (available at Amazon)

There were a couple of formatting issues, such as the second paragraph on page 133 or on page 167 the first paragraph is centered. However, I did think the incorporation of JD following a cult-like religion with superficial similarities to Christianity was intriguing and something I haven't seen in mainstream CBA publishing. It brings up a lot of discussion points if using For All Eternity in a book club. Both exposing these types of religions but also how easy it can be for a Christian like Joella to mistake it for Christianity on the surface. I don't normally read indie published books, so I was pleasantly surprised and won't be as quick to dismiss them in the future!

Saved from a cult

Different but good. The hero in this story belongs to a church group called The Exalted Brotherhood and is constantly battling to keep the "scale of balance" heavy on the good side. But no matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to find peace until he finally surrenders his life to the true God and forsakes the false teachings he had grown up with.
