exactly what i needed to read. kobi yamada + gabriella barouch's illustrations are always guaranteed to reset my heart and mind.

i wish every single one of his books was illustrated by her. these books are so charming and i can't put into words how these "simple" books immediately put your mind and heart at ease.

automatic all-time fave. perfection.

Don't wait for things to be great to be grateful. Paying attention is an act of love. Noticing is caring.

Maybe is one of my favorite picture books, so I had to pick up this spiritual companion from the same author-illustrator duo. Why Not? didn't end up speaking to me quite as much (I'm a little too cynical for the premise; if you ask me "why not?", my brain going to immediately start listing reasons), but the illustrations are just as stunning.

Thank you so much to the publisher for providing this eARC via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review!

This was not my favorite. I enjoyed several other books by this author. This one seems self focused more than the others. Just a kinda your awesome and have awesome potential book. Which is true! Yet it left me wanting.

Love Kobi Yamada so much but the book suffers from a lack of narrative.
