A most riveting work. I suspect the author may have been influenced musically by John Cage's 4'33".

Only a conversation piece.

Just like the title says this is a book about absolutely nothing! Other than the table of contents and a basic layout it is nothing but blank pages from front to end.

It's only purpose is as a conversation piece and for its novelty shock value. Which it has pulled off well in my experience with it. I have shown it to many people and the reaction has always been pretty much positive, usually with the person who has seen it wanting to show the book to someone else!

My hardcover copy sets on my coffee table and always generates curiosity and smiles. Also some people I know who aren't big fans of reading books have exclaimed that this is their kind of book! Who knows it might just turn them on to a real book after holding this and having fun with it!

... I will not count this on my 2024 books list because... It's not a book? I find it pretentious really, like if the point of the art is making it a book of nothing for some meta-commentary, why price it? Why value it with something? Nothing shouldn't be worth something unless your comment is to say even when we're nothing we value something, but seeing the feeling this book gives by filling it with nothingness, it is wasteful, it comes off as such. Even in possible messages, it's completely contradicting, and I could find that fascinating. But I see other people be more clever with that without such contradiction of what they are aiming at.

This book i believe is supposed to be a humorous look at how we are all "nobodys;" yet, we are all somebodys. There is occasionally something written on a page. It is mostly blank pages. The author is I. M. Nobody.

Relajante a la vez que desconcertante. Se hace cortísimo. Lo volveré a leer con total seguridad. 10/10.
