Two men. One woman. What goes on between them is deeper than they ever dreamed...

After running away from home and the boy who broke her heart, Evan Kennedy has kick-started the perfect new life with her celebrity fiancé. So what if said fiancé prefers guys? She knew the deal when they got engaged. And with her ticket to The Ranch, an exclusive resort where any fantasy can be satisfied, she can find someone to fulfill her less-than-traditional desires on the side.

She just never expected that man to be Jace Austin, her old heart-breaker—all grown up, hard-bodied, and holding out a collar. She knows it’s a world-class bad idea—especially since Jace has brought along his buddy Andre, who’s every bit as irresistible. But if they can stick to the no-strings rules, so can she.

Too bad Jace has never been so good with rules. Evan is convinced “forever” is a word used only in greeting cards, but Jace and Andre have one last fantasy of hers left to fulfill. It’s time to go big or go home. And neither man has ever been a fan of going home.

I am so in love with this series!! It seems like with each one Roni Loren just outdoes herself yet again, and HOLY crap does she ever go all-out in Melt Into You!!! With an incredible cast of characters that put the sex back in sexy, this story was by far the raciest yet and won me over at "Jace"!!

I'd been so looking forward to reading Jace's story after meeting him in Crash Into You and Still Into You. He had this mysterious bad-boy quality to him that was just to die for, and I knew his story would be EPIC!! This was actually my first story with a full M/M scene; I wasn't sure how I was going to end up feeling about that aspect of it only b/c I didn't know if it'd be my thing. I never should have doubted Loren, though, because honestly every moment of this book from start to finish was riddled with intense chemistry, heart-pounding sexiness, and a storyline that hooked me from the very start.

Evan's story of a broken childhood and depression was so sad, and to hear what she went through after she ran away from the boy who broke her heart just makes you hope so badly that she can finally be happy. Not to say that I agreed with her choices, because honestly I wanted to slap her at times for staying with her fiance, but she was doing what she thought was right for a friend and her own future. I just loved the chemistry between her and Jace, he was so alpha-male possessive of her at the Ranch and it was HOT!! I'm definitely more into a one-on-one relationship, so when Andre's interest became obvious I immediately started having "that's Jace's girl!!" thoughts in my head. But honestly, the three of them together was incredible and it didn't take me long to start cheering both of them on!! There were so many smoking-hot steamy scenes between Jace and Evan, Evan and Andre, all 3 of them, and even a very sensual scene with Andre and Jace, and my heart hardly had a moment to recover from it's racing!!

The plot for this installment was just as addicting as the spicy scenes because I loved the characters so much. Jace's struggles with his shop and his overbearing jerk of a father, his past with Evan, and the aftermath of their one moment of passion all wrapped up into suspense at every turn. And Evan is only given a few months of freedom to allow herself pleasure before she has to follow Daniel to LA and play the doting fiance/wife for his career, and oh does she take advantage of her time once Andre and Jace propose their plan to spend it with her!! I admit, Daniel irritated me to no end b/c he was asking SO much of Evan and making her miserable in the process, but I loved that she had him over the years where she had so little to live for.

Melt Into You wraps up with a beautiful moment, and I was so happy that things ended happily! I don't know how their lives will play out in the future, but as long as they're together it'd be perfect! And I'm very much looking forward to finally having Grant get a story with Fall Into You next!!!

DNF, couldn't get past sample.

So h was fostered with H's parents. She had to watch him dating so many bimbos, then finally she kissed H and he is attracted they are together one stormy night then something happens which makes h run. From hints its clear she lived on the streets and bad things happened and she was rescued by this gay guy, but h doesn't seem to have a happy history with men.

Meanwhile H falls in love gets married then the woman walks away absolutely breaking his heart, he is now a Dom in the club banging subs right and left , that too not alone but with a 'menage partner' the second H. He also seems to sleep around out of the club as well!!

How is this in anyway fair? The H moved on and experienced so much stuff - like love, marriage - and was a manho who admitted he hadn't thought of h in last 12 yrs bcos he had deliberately pushed her from his mind - he didn't want to feel guilty.( How about going after the h and searching for her, he just left her to live on the streets??!! What an H!! Well, I want no part of this guys' 'love' and h is an idiot if she lets him in her life again!!) The h seemed as if she never really moved on....well I wish she found a great man in all these years.

I don’t know, as erotica goes this was one lacked tension. There were glimmers of something in the beginning, but it fell into an utterly rote place. Sex, “you’re beautiful,” we all want each other. Because these are all available the library OD, I’ll for sure pick up the next one when I’m feeling like this sub-genre. I’m setting this aside for now though, cause I was just skimming and I was bored.

Contains Spoilers!!

This is my first review so go easy on me!

I was intrigued after Roni Loren's first book, Crash Into You. Eagerly picking up Melt Into You, I was excited to see what would come from Jace and what woman would drag him through the ringer to their HEA! Unfortunately, I was let down. I've read m/m/f books before, and I've enjoyed them, BUT I could not get into this. Evan was boring and predictable. Jace didn't figure out that he was into Andre until the end. IDK.. I didn't buy any of it. I thought the story would have settled much easier on me had Jace become a one person man.. Not because I'm against the m/m/f lifestyle, but because I didn't believe it's what he really wanted. He went all possessive the moment he saw anyone else with Evan once at the Ranch, EVEN Andre. Yet he forced himself to get over those feelings because all Evan was looking for was an escape for a couple months? Then suddenly, despite his sometimes possessive tendencies, he decides he's okay with sharing the one woman he has always felt a deep connection toward? And Evan -- she goes from having a gay fiancé and not really exploring her sexual nature, to instantly being open to a menagerie all because Jace comes strolling back into her life at the Ranch by chance? -- and after so many years have gone by where she has done nothing to get back in contact with him? She even had a daughter with him!

I just didn't feel this was a realistic telling of what happened between Evan and Jace. Maybe if the feelings Jace had for Andre were explored earlier in the book.. and Evan had expressed some inner desires to be a part of a m/m/f relationship.. and Jace's possessiveness (I wish I had another word for that!) was delved into a little more to explain how/why he suddenly was okay with sharing her..

As for Andre, I liked him. I felt he was the only honest, realistic, and believable character in this book. He knew what he wanted and eventually found the courage to go for it. He was a friend when needed and a lover/partner when desired. He stayed true to himself the entire book.

Melt Into You is book two in the Loving On The Edge series. I had never heard of these books before this one came available for review. I just saw the quote on the front cover by Lorelei James and knew this book had to be good. What I didn’t expect was for it to be freaking amazing. Sometimes I wish I could just say in a review: “Buy the damn book, you’ll love it!” However, my job entails a little more than that, so I will tell you all why you should. :)

The best way I know how to describe this book is to say it’s just layer after layer of emotion, conflict and blazing sex. When you put all these layers together you get a plot driven, erotic, page turner that is guaranteed to please.

Evan and Jace have a past. They were each other’s first loves. They were both young and neither of them were really given a chance to have any type of relationship. There is a lot of back story and reasons behind this, but I feel it takes away from the story to reveal too much in the review. Years later they find each other and realize that those old feelings have not disappeared. This book is not just about Evan and Jace. This is where the layers of the story come into play. We have Andre, who is Jace’s best friend and ménage partner at The Ranch (an exclusive BDSM club). We have Daniel, who is Evan’s fiancé and his partner Marcus. We have Jace’s psycho, bitchy as hell Ex-wife, Diana. And if that’s not enough there is Jace’s messed up family. All these characters play into the plot line. To say this book is intense and full of drama is putting it lightly.

Evan is given a membership to The Ranch courtesy of her fiancé, Daniel. Their marriage is to be strictly for show. He is a celebrity Dr. and is afraid it would ruin his career if he were open about his gay status. Evan owes Daniel for saving her when she was younger and has promised to help him out any way she can. Even if it means giving up her own happiness. He sees this membership as a way for Evan to enjoy some sexual experiences that he is just not able to give her. What neither of them planned on was for her old flame, Jace being the one to give her those experiences. To go one step further, where there is Jace, there is Andre.

I have read a lot of BDSM themed books and this is absolutely one of my favorites as far as the way the men introduce her to the lifestyle. The dialog was realistic and they were very strict and firm with her, but not in a pushy humiliating way. I loved the way that Jace and Andre were able to work through their emotions and not have any jealousy driven content between them. They have a lot of history together and are so good for each other I really appreciated the way their story was written.

Evan has been through so much as a child and a teenager and now as an adult she has to learn to overcome her past. We get to watch her fight and struggle to discover who she really is. And we get to experience the heartbreaking, emotional journey that she goes on while she learns to give her body, soul, heart, and trust to not only one person but two.

I can’t say enough about this book. It really gave me everything that I want in a romance. It’s edgy, entertaining, emotional, and romantic. It’s just beautifully written. The sex scenes are sizzling hot. The BDSM scenes are accurate and descriptive. The plot line is like a roller coaster ride. It’s full of ups and downs and moments where you can’t take anymore and your tummy is in knots, but when you hit the last page, you say “let’s ride it again”. That is exactly what you get with this book.

This book is part of a series and I hadn’t read the first one before starting this one. There are no problems with reading this as a standalone. But really, when you find an author this talented, why would you want to? I have already grabbed the first and plan to start it immediately.

I've said this before and I'll say it again... Roni Loren's books are masterful, story-driven, sensual and very erotic. Please judge her books by the cover and even by the author quotes on the outside. These books are sizzling, steamy hot!!

MELT INTO YOU was no different. We have a few messed up and complicated individuals. Jace has always felt as the black sheep and fuck up in his family. He has never been able to do what his father expected of him, his marriage ended in a bad divorce and he now may be the embarrassment of his family because he owns a sex shop. Well that and he goes to a sex club and continuously shares women with his best friend Andre.

There's only been one woman in his past that could've made him really want forever. Evangeline. His family had taken her in as a foster child when she was only 16. Of course they were both attracted to each other even though he was older, and they were best friends until things got out of hand and she ran away. He never knew what happened to her until he finds her by accident engaged to a TV relationship guru, and attending the sex club he has a membership at to explore her kinky side without her fiance.

But things are not always what they seem. Starting with her engagement and with the real reason why she's at the club, and then later on with what she thought she wanted to experience. What starts out as a very hot one on one weekend and walk down memory lane turns into an extremely steamy but also very emotional m/m/f relationship.

Every character has a sad and difficult past, things they have to get through and out on the table. Ms. Loren did an amazing job at giving us a complete picture into their lives and making us connect with everyone! And the most beautiful part is that by the end of this book I was totally sold on every aspect of this permanent threesome. The Jace/Andre dynamic was great and hot and straight out of my fantasies (especially the ending ;)

Another winner in this series, definitely one of my have-to-get-as-soon-as-possible series and an author that has quickly become a favorite of mine! Now give me Grant's story, I'm ready!

The relationship between Evan, Jace and Andre drew me in fast and I loved the dynamic between them. They have a complex connection and one weekend at The Ranch starts off a relationship that Andre and Jace don’t want to end, but for Evan, she’s engaged to her best friend and all she can give them is two months before she’s set to move to LA with her fake fiancé and his boyfriend.

The prologue grabbed me. It’s set twelve years ago when a young Evan is being fostered by Jace’s parents. She’s all alone in the world, she’s hurting inside and out and she turns to Jace for comfort. He knows it’s wrong, but he’s nineteen and falling in love. They spend one night together and we find out much later how wrong things went for them both after they were caught by Jace’s parents and his horrible father.

Fast forward twelve years and Evan is pretending to be engaged to her gay best friend. He’s a relationship expert hoping to take his show to network TV, but is being swayed into staying in the closet, being told that he’ll have more mass appeal coming across as a straight man. Evan owes Daniel for saving her life as a teen and she goes along with the plan seeing it as a way to gain financial security in life, something she’s never had. But being engaged to a man who loves her as a friend isn’t keeping her warm at night and as a surprise, Daniel sends her to The Ranch, a private sex club, for a weekend to explore her sexuality in a setting that will give her complete privacy and allow them to keep up their public personas. Little does she know that members of The Ranch include Jace and his best friend Andre.

Jace and Andre are, in word, delicious. They’re best friends, they share women and while things might cross a few lines between the men in the bedroom with a woman, they’ve never acted on anything together. But Andre’s in love with Jace and it takes Evan coming into their lives to shake up this threesome and bring in some major emotions. Jace is hesitant to start anything with Evan, the woman he loved that left him after the night they spent together as teens, but he can’t stand the thought of another dominant taking her for the weekend she’s at The Ranch. He and Andre claim her and she starts to realize that her solo life is so very lacking and Jace and Andre make her feel alive.

Something about the way he [Andre] said bella - bey-yah - made her all fluttery inside. Like her female genes were wired to be a sucker for the way that spice-paced accent rolled off his tongue. Made her want to find out if those lips tasted as good as his words.

She reached over and grabbed one of the sandwiches to give her shaky hands something to do. Her normally voracious appetite had been non-existent all day, but after round one with Jace, she was already feeling a little weak. Sustenance wasn’t optional. She bit into the sandwich right as Andre peeled off his T-shirt.

Bad idea. She nearly choked on the first bite.

The men are very dominant and Evan falls easily into the role as their submissive. The BDSM theme is strong, and it’s primarily centered around the D/s relationship, there’s no pain or humiliation for the heroine; just two alpha men who both like to be in charge. The emotion for me came into play largely through Andre. He’s been content to sit on the sidelines for all the years he’s known Jace, being his best friend and helping Jace pick up the pieces after his ex-wife made his life a living hell. I enjoyed how their own relationship grew, and Evan does play a role in that, but the most growth for them happens just between the two of them and mostly off page. I’d have loved to have gotten more page time on their own relationship, but the story’s main focus is on the trio and how they all battle their pasts and find a way to be together.

A couple things that didn’t work for me are Jace and his ex-wife. He was raked over the coals by her, she’s bleeding him dry in alimony and his upscale sex shop, Wicked, is struggling to survive. I don’t want to spoil anything, but Jace gives in to his ex’s demands and I wanted to slap him. It was frustrating to see this man give in to a woman who’s made his life miserable. I understand all the reasons he did it, but I still didn’t like and it didn’t seem to fit with his character. Evan was a little frustrating in how completely loyal she was to Daniel and helping him out without any care to what she wanted in life. Daniel didn’t make things easy on her, guilting her into keeping up their engagement. She comes around, but it was a bit of struggle and kept me from fully loving her as a character. She also keeps a very big secret from Jace and it kept the angst factor high, but by the time the secret comes out, she had been with the men for a long enough that she should have come clean sooner.

Overall, I thought the emotion and the relationship between all three people was well done. I loved the rock that Andre has been in Jace’s life and seeing them go from best friends to lovers and bringing Evan into their lives, it was easy to fall into their story. The D/s theme is strong, but most of those scenes take place at their home and not at The Ranch which kept their relationship feeling more intimate and didn’t cross any outrageous lines. I would have liked an epilogue, it feels like it ends a little abruptly, I just ultimately wanted more from all three of them at end, and I hope they show up in future books. This was my first book by Roni Loren and I can’t wait to read more from her. This was a sexy read with three characters that I couldn’t wait to find their happiness together.

Favorite Quote: “It just means you’re hella kinky,” he said with a broad smile. “And of course, that I’m a kickass lover.”

When Evan Kennedy was 16, she became good friends with her foster brother Jace and one night, their friendship turned into something much more. After that night, Evan runs away, and Jace never hears from her again.

Evan was living out on the streets, but becomes friends with Daniel who saves her life more than once on the rough streets. Now as an adult, with her messy past behind her, Evan is a photographer with a house and a life she is proud of. She still feels like she owes Daniel for saving her from the streets, so when Daniel’s relationship radio program has a chance to move to LA, Evan wants to help anyway she can. And that is how she becomes ‘engaged’ to Dr. Dan, who is gay and in a committed relationship with his business partner. He doesn’t think a gay Dr. Dan would be well received by heterosexual couples who want relationship and sex advice. Evan finds this a small sacrifice in her life.

At a hotel for one of Dr. Dan’s couple weekends, Evan feels a bit lonely and takes an unauthorized dip in the ocean late at night. Getting stung by a jellyfish, a man is on the beach and drags her out. By chance, Jace is at this hotel too, and just happens to be sitting out on the beach. Stunned to reunite after all these years, Evan learns that Jace is in town to try to get Dr. Dan to endorse his adult toy store he owns.

They go their separate ways until Dr Dan buys Evan a membership to an exclusive BDSM club so she can have some fun having sex (which she never has) until their big move to LA. Guess who is a Dom in that club?

I didn’t read the first book by Roni Loren, but I picked up this one because I have a weakness for a good ménage. And we quickly learn, Jace has a best friend Andre that always participates in their bdsm scenes. We also learn Andre is more of a bisexual, and is very close with Jace. Although I have a weakness for ménages, I also go into them always very skeptical. It takes a lot to convince me that three people are going to end up happy together. I think Melt Into You is one of the more believable ménages I’ve read. Part of that stems from Jace and Evan’s previous emotional relationship when they were younger. Jace still has deep feelings for Evan, so when he starts a bdsm scene with her, while he loves to be a Dom, he also starts to feel very protective over her.

I think this is done well. Jace can’t separate the fact that he is here to be her Dom, with Andre just for a few weeks until she moves to LA. He falls hard and fast, and even becomes very jealous when Andre spends time alone with her. I also enjoy Andre’s reaction to Jace, and he felt like a very good friend to him. We don’t come to know Andre as well in this book. It feels more like, Jace and Evan are truly in love, and Andre and Jace are best friends. Andre and Evan are still exploring each other. I didn’t necessarily feel love between them but Andre still fits in the picture.

It is hinted throughout that Andre and Jace have more than just a friendship and I’m very happy that the author gives us some page time of just them together. I think as the reader, we needed to see their actual physical love between them, and I always enjoy a little m/m action in my ménages.

I was disappointed how fast Evan takes to the BDSM role. This scene is new to her, and yet she goes into submissive role, being called “pet” (I just don’t like that term) and using the whole sir thing very easily. She doesn’t seem to struggle at all.

Also in this story, Jace has an ex-wife who he is not on good terms with. She rears her ugly head and I really don’t like how he ends up settling things with her. I really could have just not had her in this story. I do like meeting Jace’s family and I’m glad we he spends a little bit of time with them.

Overall I think this is a pretty solid ménage story and very sexy too.

not hot at all, very bland book,
I don't think that the book reflects at all what the blurb and other reviews seem to imply, that it is a hot book of erotica about two doms. I think if i did not read the description of the book, I could have read it like a sweet romance from Christie Ridgway or Rachel Gibson. This book is nothing like Shayla Black books. So the doms are hardly alpha or dominating, they have too much self-doubt and kept dropping the D role all the time. No wonder the submissive was also not really keen on her role other than getting wet panties whenever she said Sir. really? The whole premise of the conflict which was that somehow this woman owed the rest of her life to marry a gay man who did not want to come out to the public was also underwhelming. Then there was the whole history that the heroine had with Jace, which could have been so much more strongly written but it was cast aside with a few tears and a few apologies, what? The last issue I have with this book was that the times when the three were in the menage or the times when Jace and Andre are together are the times that were completely missing from this so-called erotica book and we get the one month later, a few weeks later, thing that many lazy writers seem to do. If you want to read a hot menage, read Barbara Elsborg and if you want to read about BDSM in romance read Cherise Sinclair and many others. Don't read this book.

I seriously need to create an alter ego so I can do a thorough review of this book. Until then, I'll just say that although some of the material was not exactly up my alley (oh, that's such a bad, Freudian pun) Roni Loren has an amazing talent for presenting things so deftly and diplomatically that readers can't help but get drawn in.

I adored Brynn in Crash Into You, but I really loved Evan in this book for personal reasons. Loren's hit another one out of the park and I look forward to the next book in the series (redheads FTW!)

Review courtesy of Dark Faerie Tales

Quick & Dirty: Steamy, hot and emotional novel featuring a couple with a dark past. Prepare yourself for some sizzling ménage scenes.

Opening Sentence: Most of the time temptation climbs into your lap and straddles you, demands you deal with it immediately.

The Review:

Melt Into You is the second novel in the Loving on the Edge series. This series features couples who meet up at The Ranch, a place for people to explore their inner and outer sexuality without the fear of being found out. This novel is so much more than the erotic scenes. The characters undergo a variety of emtions along with a dark past. This past really shapes the heroine of the story into the woman she is today.

Evan Kennedy was 16 when Jace Austin’s family took her in as a foster child. After a year, it is no surprise that Jace and Evan grew close – a little too close. Then one day, Evan disappears. They never forgot about each other but eventually life moves on. Many years later, a chance encounter and a job opportunity find Jace and Evan back in each other’s lives.

Jace owns an adult entertainment store and he is hoping that Evan’s fiancé, a relationship expert, will promote his business. Jace doesn’t realize that Evan is hiding a huge secret about her gay fiancé. After all, who would listen to a gay relationship expert? At least, that’s what he believes so Evan helps him with his façade to the outside world. Meanwhile, Evan is really sexually repressed. She hides it as best she can but it is hard when she hears her fiancé going at it with his boyfriend. They realize it so they offer her a chance to express herself sexually before the wedding with a membership to The Ranch.

At The Ranch, Jace is flabbergasted to see Evan there. Jace immediately goes into Alpha mode wanting Evan for himself, the only problem is, Jace is a part of a team. His roommate Andre joins him for ménage situations because he doesn’t ever want another relationship with a woman. He doesn’t want to lose his heart again. He knows something isn’t quite right about the situation with Evan. He doesn’t believe Evan’s vanilla boyfriend being okay with her sleeping with other men. He can see the sadness inside of her and he vows to win her over.

After a steamy weekend with Jace and Andre, Evan knows it can’t happen again. She has to move on but Jace and Andre won’t let her. Both Jace and Andre have fallen in love with her. They know they have a short window until her wedding to get her to change her mind about getting married.

Deep, dark passions and secrets are revealed about each of the major characters. Some were a little predictable, but it really didn’t diminish the story for me at all. Andre was still a bit of a secret but I really enjoyed his charming character.

Evan had her secrets and problems when she was a kid but instead of letting it take her life, she decided to live and make herself as happy as she could, while making the people who mattered to her happier. She wasn’t really ashamed of her secrets, she just didn’t want to tell them. Jace is the rich kid whose dad hates him, so he constantly does whatever he can to piss off his father, which includes his owning the adult entertainment store.

Melt Into You was a definite emotional sizzler. I really enjoyed their story, the emotional baggage captured my attention so much so that I didn’t want to put this book down until it was over. My only complaint was that I felt this novel wrapped up too quickly but I just found out there is a sequel to Jace, Evan, and Andre’s story and I am really excited to read it. I will definitely be picking up the rest of this series.

Notable Scene:

“You know, you and Jace are way too much alike sometimes.” He shifted forward in the chair. “Come on. Do what you need to do and lock up. I’ll walk you out so you can get home to Daniel.”

“Wait.” She put a hand on his thigh and pushed him down before he could stand up fully. “I’m sorry. I didn’t really mean that. It’s just . . . I can’t be that person. For you or for Jace. In a month, if you have a bad day, I’m not going to be here. We can’t pretend like this is something more than it is.”

“And you can’t go on pretending that it’s not,” he said softly.

She looked down, her eyes stinging. “Won’t change the outcome.”

He slipped a finger beneath her chin, tilting her face toward him. “So be it. But at least be honest when you’re with us. Trust us with the real you. Not some edited version. Do you think you can do that?”

She swallowed hard, the tempting idea sending cold fear through her. “I can try. But this scares the shit out of me.”

His hands cupped her face as he leaned down until his mouth was just a breath away from hers. “Join the club, bella.”

FTC Advisory: Berkley/Penguin provided me with a copy of Melt Into You. No goody bags, sponsorships, “material connections,” or bribes were exchanged for my review.

This hot little tamale is one of those titles that will forever be found on my keeper shelf! Roni Loren whips up a story full of heat and emotion as two long-lost loves rekindle the passionate and loving flame that just flickered when both were young, only to find themselves burned by the fire with a grown up D/s relationship. I honestly could not put this book down until the end, regardless of the lack of sleep to do so!!

Wow, was this a great read!! The premise of heroine Evan Kennedy being engaged to a gay man immediately caught my attention with the unique set-up. When Evan needs to fulfill her own sexual needs, she takes her fiance's gift of attending The Ranch, an exclusive and private "fantasy" club that caters to almost anyone's needs. Much to Evan's utter surprise, she sees the one man who captured her heart nearly twelve years ago, Jace Austin. Only this time, she finds that he and his friend Andre are completely inseparable – in everything.

The dynamics of the relationship between Evan, Jace, and Andre was fantastic!! The chemistry and heat leaped from the pages as what started as a weekend, no-strings-attached, rendezvous turns into something so much more. It knocks all three from the precarious positions of their original agreements into the danger zone of permanent love.

Nearly the entire story is told from the POV's of Evan and Jace, and I would have loved to have Andre's thrown in as well to get a better understanding of his feelings within the relationship. However, with that being said, I understand why the author kept the majority of the focus on Evan and Jace, for they are the ones with the heavy backstories and previous relationship.

The plot is wrapped in a nice blanket of emotion as backstories are revealed and the dynamics of a three-way relationship are discovered and accepted. I also have to state the backstories and present circumstances of the characters all added to and help to create a very unique and heartfelt story. I loved the whole idea of where the characters each 'came from' and where they were in the present day of the plot line. And while this story is the second in the Loving on the Edge series, it can be read as a stand alone. Previous book characters only make cameo appearances.

The characters were fabulously written, and the sex scenes ... wow, were they nothing short of super yummy! Fans of m/f/m menage will love this story, fans who love a little light m/m action will too, and fans who love some role playing and BDSM with a focus on D/s will seriously find their happy place! :)

2 Peppers - M/F, M/F/M, M/M BDSM, oral sex, anal sex

Twelve years ago while she was still in high school, Evangeline Kennedy lived with nineteen-year-old Jace Austin and his parents. Jace was powerfully attracted to her, and tried unsuccessfully to resist his feelings. It ended up being a mistake for both of them and she ran away and basically disappeared.

Years later, Evan is engaged to a gay celebrity when Jace saves her from nearly drowning. When recognition finally dawns on both of them, the old feelings of guilt and hurt come rushing back to them. Then her fiancé gives her a three-month membership to The Ranch, an exclusive sex retreat center. She's been celibate for over a year because she doesn't want to be with the kind of guy who would mess around with an engaged woman, but she can't trust anyone with the truth about her relationship with her gay fiancé because it would blow his cover as a relationship expert.

Coincidentally, when she visits The Ranch for the first time, Jace and his best friend Andre are there, and Jace is hoping to work off the surge of lust he's had since running into Evan. His dominant side is news to her; when they were younger he kept everything lighthearted. She's reluctant to choose him as her partner for the weekend, but he promises to keep the past in the past and keep things strictly sexual. When Jace tells her that no fantasy is off limits at The Ranch, she reveals her hidden desire to submit to two Doms. It feels so perfect to be with them, but it can only last for the weekend and then she'll go back to her life with Daniel. Not because it fulfills her needs, but because she made a promise.

This is one of the best and most delectable books I've read in quite a while. If you want a scorching-hot, one-handed read that's guaranteed to raise your body temperature so high that your bones will melt, this is it. Melt Into You is a perfect mix of hot sex and genuine emotions. I love this series and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book from Roni Loren. Erotic contemporary romance fans should put this one on their must-read list.

This book has it all. Love, romance, heartbreak, secrets and damaged people combined with sex scenes so steamy I had to stop reading or else I'd be up all night in frustration. It pushes the limits on what the reader and the characters can handle and just before we think everyone's about to break Roni pulls back and starts the rise all over agian. And again, and again.

With a tangle of complex relationships, some of the sexiest fictional men out there, one of the stronger female leads in the genre and a whole lot of steam and heart, Melt into You by Roni Loren will push every button you got and have you begging for more.

This book will not disappoint in any way, shape or form. I can't wait to see where Loren will take us next.

Can I give more than 5 stars please???

Seriously. I have no idea even how to write a review for this book. Smokin', hotter than hell doesn't even BEGIN to describe this tale.

Wow.

So, um ... if you need a little heat in your life, read Ms. Loren's books. This is my 3rd, and I am beyond addicted. She is beyond amazing - above any other romance / erotica writer I know. You won't just read these books. You will LIVE them. And oh, what a joy ride they are!

*fanning face* Did I mention hot?

*WARNING* Don't read this book until your significant other is around, otherwise you'll be left high & dry, frustrated as hell. Hubs can't get home soon enough tonight ...

That is all.

HOT HOT HOT that’s all I can say about this one haha. It was a very fast read as I couldn’t put it down. The thing I love about Roni Loren is yes her books are very much romance, steamy, some even erotic her story lines and character are very well written and it’s the story and the character your falling in love with not the “ Scenes” if you know what I am saying. Overall I find her to be a fantastic writer.

Jace,Andre, Evan did not disappoint. The ending last 5 chapters took a turn I did not see coming at all which was a nice surprise and ended with approval.

I'm always interested in books depicting non-heteronormative couplings, so Melt into You sparked my curiosity. Revolving around the (sexual) courtship of Evan and her two male lovers, Jace and Andre, Melt into You defies the traditional assumption that two is the perfect number.

I have read a novella of Ms Loren before, Yours All Along, which I quite enjoyed. It was a nice combination of emotional development and tension, which led me to try one of her other books. Sadly, Melt into You didn't live up to my expectations. Where I found the emotional development in Yours All Along to be believable and satisfying, that of Melt into You was lacking. All of the emotions and thoughts of the characters were described in such clear and obvious terms, that there was no sense of mystery or an idea of trying to discover their true feelings. It was all just there, immediately, all the time. I think one of the most basic of human experiences is confusion - it is hard to figure out how you feel, why you feel it, and how to deal with it. Emotions are tough, but for the characters in this book they were always crystal clear, knowable as if they were written down somewhere. Added to this, there was little complexity to their feelings.

Always a tough point in romance, is the "love redemption" plot. The idea that a romantic relationship will fix all problems is incredibly problematic and gives unhealthy expectations. While I could tell that Ms Loren took an effort to try to keep her characters away from this cliché, I don't think she fully succeeded. Evan, the female main character, has a history of cutting, suicidal thoughts, and takes anti-depressants. Her battle with her demons stays largely off-page, only mentioned when convenient. At some point, we get a quick recap of "yeah I worked on it and now I don't need anti-depressants anymore", and claiming her emotional availability towards the others. When you incorporate such heavy matters in a book, it deserves more than a simple mention of being better. A battle against depression and suicide isn't something you can just play lip service to when it suits you, and leaving the resolution out of the story. Evan's mental health issues could have been handled more in-depth - as it is, I found this part of her back-story be more harmful than anything else.

Lastly, I was vaguely disappointed with the erotic BDSM aspect. Evan is a submissive to dominants Jace and Andre. Part of such role-play is of course following along with what the dominants tell the submissive to do; that is the entire point. What I did not like was that Evan seemed to have few thoughts or wants on her own. She merely reacts to the situations Jace and Andre put her in. There was too little attention to desires of her own. I think that even in role-play, there can be more attention to this. Now Evan just felt like a passive participant in the proceedings, rather than a willing subject.

Overall I found Melt into You disappointing and occasionally problematic. Perhaps one of the later books by Ms Loren would be a better choice.

Young lovers, Evan and Jace, have one night of passion when they are to young to deal with the consequences. When things blow up on them both, Evan takes to the streets on the run and Jace is kicked out of the house by his father.

Now years later, Evan is on tour with her fake fiancé, promoting his career as a couples counselor, on the cusp of getting his own talk show. The secret is her fiancé is gay and committed to another man, but he needs Evan to help with his image. He saved Evan when she was on the verge of committing suicide and now is her best friend she feels she owes.

Jace tried to be the good son and go int the family business and marry the right woman. But he wasn’t happy so he started his own sex toy store with help from his friend Andre. But his wife couldn’t handle it and left him…but not without digging for as much money as she could get in alimony. Now Jace needs Evan’s fiancé to endorse his store for couples, unbeknownst that Evan is his fiancé.

The two meet and sparks fly from an old romance, but Jace won’t risk his business getting involved with Evan again. He’s also been burned and can’t commit to any woman, but still loves to dominate them.

Evan’s stressed, so her fiance gives her a three month membership to The Ranch. The Ranch is a BDSM club that caters to all kinds of fantasies, but mostly Jace and Andre are members and Doms. Evan goes with them as their sub for the weekend, but holds onto her heart knowing they could easily break it and she can’t afford that.

The intricate weaving of the lovers was painful and wonderful to watch. Each had so many hurts and desires for their life that had to be peeled back to see what was real and what was just defensive layers. We don’t know in the beginning all the details the one night the lovers originally come together and this shapes their lives. Each little bit adds to the puzzle until you see two people who were torn up and put themselves back together.

While Jace and Evan had a past, we little by little pull Andre into the lovers mix and find that Andre loves Jace as much as he could love Evan. This is just as much a M/M romance as it is a M/F or even a M/F/M romance. Each type of romance growing slowly and deeply.

Let’s not forget the heat though. The sexy love and non-love scenes scorched up the pages as I kept turning and turning as fast as I could read. I stayed up till 1 in the morning because I couldn’t put the book down it was so good.

The story just doesn’t take place over one weekend, but several months, which was refreshing not to see everyone jump at once into love. There is heartache and pain. It isn’t a simple love story and the pain wasn’t from the BDSM everything as much as it was emotional pain of dealing with the past, present and possibly a future together.

I highly recommend this book. It just pushed all the right buttons with me and had me wanting the next book faster than Roni can write it!

Roni Loren's Loving on the Edge series continues its wonderfully entertaining momentum as teenage crushes/foster siblings are reunited as adults after a night of love led to years of guilt and heartache. As a teen Evan felt unloved and unimportant stuck in a pit of depression from which she could only express herself through cutting. Foster brother Jace always had a way with people and Evan formed a strong bond with him that ended badly and led her to almost committing suicide while living on the streets. For years guilt ate away at Jace when one night they're unexpectedly reunited and they get set on a path that puts them through the emotional wringer once again.

Jace's life has been emotionally difficult as well. His father feels as if he's a failure since he wants to go his own way in life and not rely on the family business and money. He constantly belittles him which has given Jace self-esteem issues. He also has an ex-wife who wanted him only for money and cheated on him constantly. Jace now has a hardened heart and only wants relationships that are superficial. His friend Andre understands Jace's pain and is one of the only people he can count on. They've always shared their women but as the story progresses their relationship evolves into something stronger and more fulfilling. Not to mention steamy!

Evan's return to Jace's life is full of secrets and obligations and I ached for everything she'd been through and continues to go through out of loyalty. She's willing to sacrifice her happiness because of a perceived obligation and this part of the story was extremely annoying and made me very resentful towards Evan's fiancee Dan and his emotional manipulations. The only people she can really count on are Jace and Andre and their extremely sexy menage which is first and foremost based on truth which none of them have had enough of in life.

This was a thoroughly satisfying story with two sexy heroes with dramatically different qualities who together make the perfect man. The sexual encounters are frequent and seamlessly interwoven throughout the story with some scenes of lite-BDSM play and some m/m action as well as a menage. There's glimpses of characters from previous books which add a family feel to the story but doesn't mean you have to have read the previous book to fully embrace this one. The glimpses of Ranch owner Grant and Ranch member Colby were very enticing and have me excited for the future of this series. Have a tissue nearby though as Evan's past is highly emotional and her surviving it makes her even more likable and someone to admire.

I have never read a book before where there were three lovers and it wasn’t a love triangle. Melt into You is NOT a love triangle at all.

Jace and Evan have a dark past. Jace’s family adopted Evan until one night they were alone and took things too far. Then Evan ran away and was never heard from again.

Years later Evan is getting married to her best friend who is in love with another man. He needs her to be able to get his dreams and after everything they’ve gone through together she owes him. Then he offers he a weekend at The Ranch. A very exclusive sex resort that is everything she could ever want and will be private enough for her sex-apades not to get out to the public. That’s when she sees Andre and Jace.

Jace and Andre have been best friends and roommates for a long time. They do EVERYTHING together at the club. Seeing Evan after so many years triggers something for Jace and he has to have her again. When the weekend is over Andre and Jace don’t want to give her up and agree to spend the next and last month Evan has free. Only problem? They’re all falling in love and odn’t know what to do about it.

Ah I loved this story so much. Andre, Jace and Evan’s story is so unique and fantastic I fell in love from the first pages. Their relationship is so taboo yet so perfect and full of love it couldn’t be any more right.

Andre has been in love with Jace for a long time. Then he falls in love with Evan and it couldn’t be more perfect. Except Jace doesn’t know Andre has any feelings for him. Honestly my favorite scene in this entire book was the Jace and Andre love scene. Nothing better than two best friends finally realizing they’re in love.

Jace has a bit of a tortured past with his ex-wife after she cheated on him. He’s known for being a “bad boy” but he has the sweetest heart and is afraid of being hurt. His family life is messed up but Jace is always loyal and you really can’t help but love the hottie.

Evan is a tough girl and I loved her character from the beginning. I loved how she went from a relationship with two guys and ended up in a relationship with two guys. Funny how that worked out. I enjoyed how Evan fought her emotions for our two Doms every step of the way while still giving it everything she had. She never quit fighting for what she wanted and in the end she became stronger for it.

Seriously if you are looking for a very hot BDSM romance novel and or novels Roni Loren’s Loving on the Edge series couldn’t be more perfect. Roni Loren’s writing is off the chain and the stories couldn’t have been more perfect if they tried. Must have more Roni Loren!!!!!

I preordered this book because it was Jace story and it didn't let me down. It was all I expected and more. Melt Into You is the best book I've read this year. It's a story that is emotionally raw. I laughed, cried, I wanted to scream at times, I was so drawn into the story I felt what each character was going through.

After meeting Jace in Crash Into You, I couldn't wait to get his story. He's not exactly what you expect. There's so much more to Jace than his flirting, his charm and loyalty to his friends. He's a deep character who has a history with Evan. She was a foster child his parents took in. I thought maybe flashbacks to see what the characters went through and were like would have been needed but the story works perfectly as it is.

Jace and Evan madeistakes as teenagers and ended up losing contact with each other. They run into each other a few years later and what they had is still there. Only thing, Evan is engaged to Dr. Dan. He saved her so she feels like she owes him. There were so many times I wanted to scream at Evan. I felt like Daniel was taking advantage of her, using her and she didn't see it. I wish Daniel had stepped up and had cleared things up and not had let Evan take the fall. If he truly had been her friend and loved her like a friend, he would've told people his secret.

Andre is Jace best friend and they share women. There is no doubt that sparks fly as soon as Andre and Evan meet when Jace rescues her. They all meet up at The Ranch where Andre and Jace go to play and Evan is there because her fiancé lets her go. Sparks fly between all three and as much as try all try they can't keep there emotions out of the relationship. They all fall in love, though Jace and Evan already have feelings for each other. What they go through is complex and heart wrenching. My heart bled for them. Evan has a secret that can tear them apart.

I loved this story from beginning to end. The only other authors who have made me go through so many emotions while reading their books have been Nora Roberts and Danielle Steele. I've read Roni's two other books Crash Into You and Still Into You and she just keeps coming up with a better story line. I highly recommend this book. It's a beautiful erotic romance story. I wish my review could be better. All I can say is run out and get this book. It's so much better than the other erotic books I've read. Now I just have to patiently wait for the next book in this series.

I knew there was a reason Roni Loren is on my automatic buy/want list. Her Loving on the Edge series has such a cast of complex characters that you can't help but emotionally get involved in Jace, Evan and Andre's relationship. Evan and Jace, especially, are stripped bare and forced to face their past and secrets in order to find a way to the relationship they want with each other and with Andre.

Evan has been trying to reinvent herself from the teenage runaway she was. She thinks she finally has the solution when she agrees to be her best friend, Daniel's wife. So may be unfulfilled in the relationship, but at least this way she's sure to avoid the heartache she experienced at seventeen. Daniel knows she's unhappy so he gifts her a weekend at The Ranch, hoping she can get the fix that she needs. While scared about what she might be walking into, she still agrees to go. She just never thought she'd run into her past while there.

Jace Austin's life is in somewhat of a shambles. His business needs cash to expand, but he cheating, greedy ex-wife is sucking him dry. And what she doesn't strip from him, his father and his demands/accusations will. His best friend and roommate suggests a weekend at The Ranch for some fun. While Jace is up for he and Andre having a dominating threesome that weekend, he didn't expect to find his ex-foster sister and the only woman he's ever truly had feelings for, standing in the newbie sub line.

Evan, Jace and Andre had stunning chemistry together. Evan and Jace were these two emotionally wounded souls that Andre was able to balance out. Even when Andre had promised himself to give Jace distance, he knew when his friend was in need of that emotional support and was there for him. Evan and Jace had a lot of emotional history to work through, but once they discovered that what the three of them had together was worth fighting for.

I highly recommend this series to anyone who is looking for a great menage/BDSM read with emotionally engaging characters and a great storyline.

Evan’s one of those kids who went through the system and saw it all. Her last stop on the foster train just so happened to be Jace’s home. She lived with his family for a year. Everything was looking up for her, until her and Jace slept together and his parents found them in bed. Jace was kicked out of the house and Evan ran away, never to be heard from again. Now, 12 years later, their paths cross again and the attraction is still there. Only, she’s promised her loyalty to the boy who saved her on the streets. The same guy who is well known for his marriage advice as well as his exuberant relationship with his fiance, Evan.

This is a great addition to Loving on the Edge. There’s conflict all around when it comes to the main characters. Not only is Evan engaged to her gay best friend to keep that perfect image alive for his career but Jace is still torn up over the brutal divorce with his wife, who’s still sucking him dry. Add on top of that his friend, Andre, and menage partner who’s secretly been holding a torch for him, and you have drama bombs blowing up everywhere.

Yeah, there’s a lot that goes on in this story without even talking about all the amazingly steamy scenes. Which by the way, were fan-yourself hot. Roni definitely knows how to write a behind closed doors scene and make the reader feel like they were there. No I take that back, you feel like you were them in that scene. Yup, the woman knows how to write.

The characters had their flaws and I think that was what really the beautiful part of this story. It wasn’t just one dimensional problems either. There was more than meets the eye with these characters.

My only complaint is the whole baby thing. It felt disconnected to the story. The author brings it up like it’s going to be something big with the story and all it does is just add unnecessary drama to an already amazing story. I think the whole thing could have been taken out completely since it didn’t seem to add a purpose to the story.

I enjoyed this book for what it was: steamy, explorative, and emotional.

However, I had a hard time with the second half, as I felt there was something off about it. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel like the best way to describe it is that there were some inconsistencies/issues with the character/plot development. Things were a little rushed in some parts, which I felt made events/emotions/chemistry feel less genuine, and slightly instalove-y.

I understood the history/romance between Jace and Evan, and maybe the relationship between Jace and Andre; I had a hard time connecting/understanding/accepting the romance between Andre and Evan. It just seemed like too much, too fast. So whenever there were scenes/dialogue between those two, I just had a hard time believing that their connection was genuine. Maybe if there had been more time to develop/foster that connection, I may have accepted that their connection made sense.

It's almost like this story needed to be told throughout the course of two books. There was A LOT of plot for one book. There's family drama, sexual orientation discovery, skeletons in closets, divorce drama, relationship problems, emotional scars, and more. So much happening all over the place; I felt like I was being pulled in too many directions (and I don't mean because it centered around a ménage). That being said, I applaud the author for taking alllllll that plot, and making it work into one book. There were some moments that made me scratch my head, but overall, I was able to still get through it.

Bottom line, I still really love Jace's character. Despite all the "feels", I enjoyed reading this story. Even though each of the characters had their flaws (and at times made decisions that made me get stabby), I was till rooting for them to get their HEA, as non-traditional as it would be.

Can't wait for book 3!

Evan's got a smart, loving, protective fiance, and a strong emotional bond with him that goes back to when she was a teen runaway in serious trouble. Unfortunately, he's just not that into her, being gay and closeted for the sake of his career. But he wants her to be happy, so he sets her up with a three month membership at The Ranch, a place she can discreetly play without blowing his cover.

What none of them count on is that Evan's first love Jace is also a member of The Ranch, and so's his hot buddy Andre. Despite, or perhaps because of their past hurts, it's simply not possible for this trio to make it only about the sex, though they try. Love's got a lot to do with it; love between Evan and Jace, between Evan and Andre, and between Jace and Andre, though there is something extra special when all three are together. The obstacles keeping these people apart are not easily surmountable, and it doesn't all wrap up in a bow (or padded handcuffs, if you prefer) over the course of a long weekend. The sex is incredibly hot (I've had a mad crush on Jace since he first appeared in Roni's Crash Into You); adding hot cop Andre just turned it up a notch.

I've never been into the whips-and-chains-and-floggers thing, but Roni makes me like it despite myself. I just hope she doesn't start writing erotica involving circus monkeys or houseplants, because I would prolly discover that in her skillful hands, those "did it" for me, too.

Spoiler Ahead This book was picked for me in a pick it for me challenge and it was hot. Evan Kennedy has a gay celebrity boyfriend. When she goes to the ranch to have her fantasies fulfilled she never thought the man would be her ex Jace Austin. Evan and Jace have a past. Evan was a teenage foster kid with a crush on Jace, the son of the family she was living with. His kind attention attracts her, but quickly turn bad when they succumb to passion and Evan believes that Jace never loved her. She runs away and finds herself destitute and on the streets until she finds a friend named Daniel. Together Daniel and Evan create a lucrative and popular relationship team. Evan poses as his fiancée. Now she has everything: success, money, security. The only thing is Daniel is gay! But they need to keep their façade for the business they have created together. Turns out Have is the owner of the ranch he is hot sexy and rich. So when Daniel give her a vacation to the ranch things get out and heavy between her and Have and his partner Andre. This was a really good book the sex scenes were hot as hell. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

One day...a handful of hours, really, is all I needed to start and finish this book. It's now almost 2 am, and the first thing I thought to do was come online to write a review. OH. MY. EFFING. GOODBAR! I loved Jace from CRASH INTO YOU, and the teaser excerpts for MELT (which can be found in the Kindle versions of both CRASH and STILL INTO YOU) have been torture. I wasn't about to wait to read his story, and I was not disappointed in the least. Knowing I'm going to go back through it for pointers on how to write an amazing love scene, I probably should have put bookmarks in but I couldn't have stopped to think about that if you'd paid me. It was an engrossing story with not one, but TWO hot heroes.

I'm not even going to bother with a mini-synopsis of the story or my analysis of the characters or anything else. I'm just going to say: if you don't go buy/read this now, you'll be missing out.
