ACCESSIBILITY

Variety Media, LLC (“Variety”) aims to create events that are accessible for guests of all abilities. If you need special assistance or accommodations, please contact us for information in advance of the event.

BAGS AND PERSONAL ITEMS

For the safety of all attendees, speakers, staff, and other program participants, all persons and their belongings (including any bags) are subject to search. You hereby consent to such searches and forever waive any and all claims related to such searches. Variety and the venue operator is not responsible for items that are lost, misplaced, or left behind.

USE OF IMAGE OR LIKENESS

Variety regularly records events and associated programming. By attending an event in any capacity (e.g., as attendee, speaker, etc.), you acknowledge that your voice, performance and likeness may be recorded in connection with the event. You consent to your voice, performance and likeness being used, without compensation or further authorization, in connection with the advertising, promotion, sponsorship and exploitation of the event (including for archival purposes) by Variety and event sponsors in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised. You agree to release Variety and the sponsors of the event and their respective licensees from any liability on account of such usage.

RECORDING AND PHOTOGRAPHY

Variety reserves the right to (1) restrict or prohibit anyone from engaging in audio or video recording, photography, streaming or transmission of an event, (2) remove anyone from the event who is conducting unauthorized recording, streaming or photography, and (3) confiscate any recording devices.

TRADEMARKS AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Variety owns the trademarks and name of the event and does not permit the use of such trademarks and name by third parties.

SPEAKERS AND AGENDA

Any event speakers, panelists, agenda topics and agenda times are subject to change without notice.

TICKETS AND INVITATIONS

All event tickets and/or event invitations are for use by the original authorized purchaser or original invitee and their invited guest(s) only. Event tickets and event invitations are not transferable.  Except if expressly stated in writing by Variety, all tickets are non-refundable. Seating and immediate admittance is first-come, first-served.  

GENERAL SECURITY AND HEALTH MEASURES

Attendee acknowledges that an event shall be presented in accordance with applicable venue policies, public health, safety and security policies, including local public health and safety policies and CDC guidelines, as of the date of such event and which may change at any time as determined by federal, state or local government agencies, the venue operator, and/or Variety. Attendee agrees to comply with all such policies.

Variety reserves the right, in its sole discretion and without liability, to refuse entry or to physically remove anyone from the event for any reason (including, but not limited to, harassment, disrespectful or inappropriate behavior or failure to comply with public health, safety and venue policies).

LIABILITY

BY REGISTERING FOR OR ATTENDING AN EVENT, ATTENDEES AGREE THAT VAREITY ASSUMES NO LIABILITY FOR INJURY, DAMAGE, ILLNESS, DEATH, PROPERTY LOSS OR ANY OTHER LOSS WHICH MAY BE RELATED IN ANY WAY TO ITS IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS POLICY.

Attendee consents to have medical treatment that may be deemed advisable in the event of an injury, accident, or illness during an event and affirmatively releases Variety, the venue operator and all persons participating in such medical treatment from all responsibility for any such actions.

OTHER TERMS

Variety reserves all rights not expressly granted to the attendee. The terms of our Privacy Policy are included herein by reference. Variety reserves the right to make changes to its events, site, policies, and these terms at any time. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by laws of the State of New York.
