GrimGrimoire is a real-time strategy game from Vanillaware and Nippon Ichi for the PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan on 2007-04-12.

Plot

Lillet Blan is a young magician admitted to a prestigious magic school, the Tower of Silver Star. One day she wakes to find everyone missing. Lillet then proceeds to relive the five days before the disappearances over and over again, and she can use this time loop to solve the mystery and prevent it from happening again.

Gameplay

Lillet appears onscreen as a disembodied hand, used to guide troops around the field in traditional real-time strategy style. Unit-creating barracks and war factories have been replaced with summoning circles, resource gatherers take the form of elves who can harvest mana from crystals, unexplored areas of the tower are shrouded in a fog of war, and there are a number of different ways for you to select individual or multiple units. [1] Several types of units are available including elves, who gather resources, and faries, who act as "soldiers". There are also several different magic schools, including necromancy, sorcery, and alchemy. Necromancy will allow the player to summon powerful allies such as demons and dragons.
