Marga López

Marga López, née Catalina Margarita López Ramos, was born June 21, 1924 in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. Her parents were Pedro López Sánchez and Dolores Ramos Nava. She has six siblings: Juan, Miguel, Dolores, Pedro, María y Manuel. She debuted in the show business in her home country as a child, with her siblings in the group knowns as Los hermanitos López. In 1936 they made a trip through Latin America that brings them to Mexico.There she met her future husband, Carlos Amador, a cinema producer, with whom she mrried twice, in 1941 and in 1961 They had two children, Carlos and Manuel. El matrimonio terminó en divorcio. In 1964 she married Arturo de Córdoba, who died in 1973. She has not remarried since then.

Her filmography is very extense. She has appeared in more than 80 movies and lots of telenovelas.

Reportedly, she suffered a heart attack, Tuesday, April 19, 2005, while undergoing a health 'check-up' test at a hospital in Mexico City.
