North Korea competed under its abbreviated official name of DPR Korea at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. It was the second time that the nation had competed separately from South Korea and the eighth time that Korean athletes had competed at the Summer Olympics. North Korea competed under the IOC country code PRK (People's Republic of Korea).

Results by event

1976 was the first time that North Korea competed in archery in the Olympics. Two women competed, taking 4th and 10th place to put North Korea at fifth place in the archery national leaderboard.

Women's:
