Scott Rendell (born 21 October 1986, in Ashford, Surrey) is an English footballer with Peterborough United. His position is striker, and on 23 March 2006 started work experience with Conference South side Hayes[1], having previously been on work experience at Forest Green Rovers.
Rendell scored Forest Green's first ever goal as a professional football club and played for Aldershot Town before joining Cambridge United. He had started his career with Reading but was unable to establish himself in their first team.
Rendell made a great start to the 2007-08 season for Cambridge. After an injury to fellow United striker Lee Boylan, Rendell went on a 5 match scoring streak and had scored 22 goals by mid-february.
On 18 February 2008, Rendell joined Cambridge's arch rivals, Peterborough United on loan with a view to a permanent transfer for a fee of £115,000.
