Now known as B. R. Ambdekar University, Agra University is one of the oldest institutions in India. ^[1] It is located in Uttar Pradesh, in the historic city of Agra--often recognized because it also is the home of the Taj Mahal.^[2] Well known professors at the university include Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma, Pt. Motilal Nehru, Gulzari Lal Nanda, Ch. Charan Singh, Pt. Krishna Dutt Paliwal, and Pt. Hridyanath Kunzru.
