Madison Square is located at the intersection of Broadway, Madison Avenue, and 23rd Street.
Madison Square Garden was originally here, before being moved to the spot above Pennsylvania Station in the 1960s.
Madison Square is surrounded by a number of landmarks, including the famous Flatiron Building, built in 1902 in an unusual shape to accommodate the odd-shaped plot of land. The shape of the building was known to result in unusual wind patterns around Madison Square, and perverts were known to hang around here staring up women's skirts as they were blown up.
