Image title
York City v Oxford United, League Two, 1 September 2012.
A disappointing game for Oxford, after winning all their previous three league games so far this season. York scored after less than 20 seconds(!), then in the next 15 minutes Oxford missed a penalty and York scored again. Although Oxford played well and made it 2-1 before half-time, York got a third goal in the second half. Result 3-1 to York.
Oxford attack the York goal early in the game. The York defender is Clarke Carlisle, an experienced player signed by the club two days before this game.
