This article provides the list of episodes from the television series Stargate Atlantis.

The first three seasons of Stargate Atlantis are currently available for purchase on DVD in the USA, Australia, New Zealand,Canada, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. The first two seasons are available on DVD in Germany. The series was renewed for a fourth season in August 2006, which began airing in the United States and Canada on September 28, 2007, on the Sci Fi Channel. A fifth season has been planned and approved for production.

As of March 7, 2008, 80 episodes of Stargate Atlantis have been aired.

Season 1

The Lost City will rise again. The series picks up the story arc from Stargate SG-1's Lost City, where people from all around the world come together to form an expedition and discover the wonders of Atlantis. Discovering that they have been cut off from Earth, they must fend for themselves, and discover a powerful new enemy bent on human subjugation.

Season 2

The story continues when the Daedalus arrives and renews the expedition's connection to Earth. This takes place alongside the Ori story arc in SG-1, and the Wraith become an even larger threat in the Pegasus Galaxy. But what they deal with in their second year might be more than they can handle, and Dr. Beckett's retrovirus is more in trouble than it's worth.

This season concentrates on more character driven stories. Along with new insight on the characters, the expedition discovers a new threat, one that could be the pre-cursor to the Replicators. Some important characters leave the series in this season, and the fate of Atlantis once again is in the hands of the Tau'ri.

Season 4

Amanda Tapping (Col. Samantha Carter) joins the cast as a regular for 14 episodes, Jewel Staite (Dr. Jennifer Keller)[2] will be a recurring character for eight episodes, while regular cast member Torri Higginson (Dr. Weir) will become a recurring cast member for four episodes.[3] The season started September 28th, 2007, airing on the SCI FI channel in the United States. In the United Kingdom, the season premiered on Tuesday, October 9th, 2007 on Sky One.

Season 5

Template:Future television After being a regular character in season four Amanda Tapping (Colonel Samantha Carter) will become a guest star in several episodes of season five. Robert Picardo (Richard Woolsey) joins the cast as a permanent character as Woolsey assumes command of Atlantis. Actress Jewel Staite (Dr. Jennifer Keller) also is promoted from a recurring character to a permanent cast member. Both Michael Shanks (Dr. Daniel Jackson) and Paul McGillion (Dr. Carson Beckett) will appear as guest stars in this season, with McGillion appearing in five episodes.[6] A new character named Captain Alicia Vega (formerly named Alison Porter), played by actress Leela Savasta, will become a recurring member in the season, who will lead her own team from episode four onwards, while Dr. Alison Porter will first appear in the fourth episode.[7] Actress Torri Higginson has stated that she won't be reprising her role as Dr. Elizabeth Weir in the fifth season.[8]
