The article looks like a hybrid of Russophobic hysteria and original research. In the absence of verifiable and reliable academic sources, I advise to prod it. --Ghirla -трёп- 15:54, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Excuse me? Are you, well, stupid? Russia was judged BY THE COURT of guilty of the murders in Aldi. The Russian state. [1] It's not called "incident" - [2] (0 hits for this exact phrase). It's called "massacre" [3] (33 hits for this exact phrase, and 340 for massacre in context - 324 for killings and 233 for murders, respectively, with only 208 for incident, including phrases like "not an isolated incident"). Also, there's zero "original research." Don't try harder, just go away. --HanzoHattori 22:22, 28 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

http://www.hrw.org/reports/2000/russia_chechnya3/Chech006-08.htm is a section on rape. ("Of all the violations Human Rights Watch researchers uncovered in Aldi on February 5, incidences of rape were by far the hardest to document in any great detail. Chechen society has strong taboos against revealing instances of sexual assault.") This is also why they don't go and say anyone was raped in the court - being raped is a shame for the family, and for the victim if alive. ("This cultural taboo compounds the pain for the rape victim, leaving her to suffer in silence for fear of social ostracization.") --HanzoHattori 11:19, 6 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
