Badminton
Badminton is a popular lawn game enjoyed in households across the United States. The game is similar to tennis, as they both involved rackets and a ball. However, unlike tennis, badminton can be played on grass or on a drawn court. The sport is played with lightweight rackets and players aim to hit the ball, also called a shuttlecock or bird, over the net. Players are able to rally hits back and forth, but the goal is to land the ball on the opponent’s court before they can return it. Badminton players often have excellent teamwork, reflexes, and coordination.
