Kathryn Hahn (Actor)
Kathryn Hahn is an American actress and comedian who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theater from Northwestern University. She also attended Yale, where she studied at the drama school, starring in “Sally Bowles,” “Cabaret” and “The Misanthrope” as Sally Bowles.
One of her first big roles was Lily Lebowski in the NBC crime drama series Crossing Jordan from Tim Kring. Film roles for the actress include How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), Step Brothers (2008), The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009), Our Idiot Brother (2011) and 2013’s We’re the Millers and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
She played the recurring guest role of Jennifer Barkley in ten episodes of Parks and Recreation, and more TV credits under her belt are Transparent for which she received a Primetime Emmy nomination, I Love Dick, Mrs. Fletcher, and I Know This Much Is True. Dramatic films in which she appeared include Revolutionary Road (2008), This Is Where I Leave You (2014), Tomorrowland (2015), The Visit (2015) and Captain Fantastic (2016).
Hahn led films like Afternoon Delight (2013), Bad Moms (2016), A Bad Moms Christmas (2017) and Private Life (2018). She has lent her voice to the role of Erika Van Helsing in Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018) and Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania (2022) as well as Doctor Octopus in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018).
She received another Emmy nomination for her role as Clare in Tiny Beautiful Things, adapted from the book by Cheryl Strayed through Hello Sunshine and Hulu. Hahn will reunite with Parks and Recreation costar Aubrey Plaza in the witchy Marvel series Agatha All Along, which is a spinoff show led by her character Agatha Harkness, who was first introduced in Marvel’s WandaVision.
