The pilgrims tell Alfred and his companions the stories of their gods.
The Firstgod created their world and pushed them to advance their scientific knowledge to free him. They succeed and realize they were no more then tools and prepared to kill themselves. But then three new gods appeared and gave them new purpose.

Synopsis for "This Is What We Need to Know"
Morgaine le Fey and Enigma bring together a Cabal of villains to serve as their own version of the Major Arcana to reshape reality. Carter Hall reveals that he has been thinking about creating his own version of the Major Arcana. Carter is distraught over not being able to figure out who else he needs for his Major Arcana when Charity appears saying she is there to help save the world.
