In the 31st Century a new Justice Society arose.
History
A trio of young heroes inspired by the legacy of the Justice Society of America, the first superhero team, banded together to form a new Justice Society rather than join the Legion of Super-Heroes. They excavated the ruins of the JSA Brownstone, but before they could explore it, they were attacked and killed by Per Degaton, who had been travelling backwards in time, murdering every version of the JSA throughout history.[1]
Khalid Nassour pulled the Justice Society from the moment before their deaths into the past, to join the multiple Justice Society teams across history in the fight against Degaton. After Degaton was defeated their timeline was restored.[2]
The Legion of Super-Heroes attacked the Justice Society of the 21st Century as they had allowed The Legionnaire, the past self of their enemy Mordu to join. However, Nassour and the Legion of Substitute Heroes revealed that they were being manipulated by Eclipso. He was defeated and the two sides agreed to make peace. The Subs took the Legionnaire and Helena Wayne, the last survivor of an erased timeline, back to the 31st Century to join the Justice Society.[3]
