Golden Giants are a prehistoric, strongly-built humanoid race notable for their golden skin and height.
History
Locals referred to them as "Grodans". While strong, they are not stronger than their build implies and are unable to break through metal chains which were used later to subdue the giants.
They were discovered by Barry Allen and Wally West when an earthquake caused a reaction with the Flash's own vibration patterns. Barry later traveled at super speed to make the ground vibrate in the same manner as the earthquake to return to his time period.[3]
Later, they were brought to modern day Keystone City by Abra Kadabra to wreak havoc on the city during a Rogue attack.[4]
Hal Jordan discovered that the Golden Giants were created by the powerful Majistry, commonly sent across the multiverse to scout potential points of colonization.[5] Hal guessed that Earth had a dampening quality on the Giants' intelligence, leading to the probes sent to Earth becoming simpler than other members of the species.[6]
