Admiral Whiskers (Doom Patrol TV Series)

Admiral Whiskers was a rat who lost his mother and sought revenge against her killer, Cliff Steele, becoming his archenemy out to ruin his life.

History

Losing his mother

Born as a small woodland creature, the rat and his mother went out for a walk, but showing fear, his mother crossed first, causing her to be killed by a bus leaving for Cloverton, causing the rat to let out a scream until it heard the noise. voice of the evil and mysterious narrator, Mister Nobody, who began to manipulate him to avenge his mother.

However, the rat showed no desire to take revenge, although Nobody asked him to concentrate, since something bad happened, considering the rat the only one that could repair it, encouraging him to become evil to avenge the death of his mother, receiving the order of Nobody to kill his mother's killer, Cliff Steele, a robot with anger issues, and agrees to finally kill the robot, letting out an evil shriek, beginning to be called Admiral Whiskers.^[2]

During the possible end of the world through the giant eye, the Decreator, Whiskers was in the streets, meeting Ezekiel the Cockroach, who enacted the end of humanity as it is known, with Whiskers, asking him if there would be cheese, causing an argument between both, before Whiskers left.^[3]

Revenge against Cliff

Days later, Whiskers finally infiltrated the Doom Manor, Cliff's home, finding him distracted, an opportunity that he took to take revenge, infiltrating his room and entering him due to a hole in his body. While inside Cliff, Whiskers caused Cliff to start hallucinating that he was going in search of his former best friend, Bump Weathers, and reunited with his daughter, Clara, though in reality, Whiskers caused him to act against his friends, making that the group will take a therapy session.

During group therapy, Whiskers had Cliff interrupt his friends every time they blurted out their problems and to finally complete his revenge, he had Cliff turn against his best friend and surrogate daughter, Jane, causing Jane to leave, moving inside Cliff to finally make him mad. When the cybernetic vigilante, Vic Stone, tackled Cliff to the ground to try to calm him down with the help of the radioactive man, Larry Trainor, Whiskers finally came out of the body, surprising the group because a small rat caused so much trouble, before Whiskers escaped after completing the revenge for his mother.^[2]

Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals

Months later, Whiskers was taken to White Space, where he reunited with Ezekiel and Mister Nobody to take revenge again on Cliff and his friends, joining his new team of supervillains, the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals, initiating his ultimate revenge against Niles Caulder, the scientist who turned Cliff into a robot. As their first evil act, Whiskers and the Brotherhood stole from Horst Eismann a magical painting, which was capable of enclosing anything within.

Traveling to sentient street, Danny the Street, the Brotherhood planned to turn Dorothy Spinner, Niles' powerful daughter, against her father, but Whiskers and Ezekiel were turned into giants by the girl, considering themselves the most powerful and kicked Nobody out of their team. Following the trail of destruction, Whiskers ran into Cliff again, devouring him at first sight, but not killing him yet until Vic began firing his blasters, though Whiskers began chasing the hero for the attack. Whiskers listened to Cliff in his stomach, discussing Clara and his mother's death.

Whisker listened to Cliff in his stomach, talking about Clara and her mother's death. When Nadie's voice was heard, who recovered the narration, he encouraged Bigotes to see Ezequiel with eyes of love. Whiskers followed the narrative, dropping flirtatious hints at his friend, confessing his feelings for him, calling him "daddy", which made Ezekiel fall in love, with whom they eventually shared a romantic tongue kiss, allowing Cliff to enter the cockroach's stomach. While sharing their kiss, the duo were unaware of Larry's radioactive blast to free the team from the painting and during the blast, Whiskers ended up dying, as did Ezekiel soon after, wiping out the Brotherhood.^[1]

Powers

• Enhanced Intellect: Whiskers was a sentient rat, being able to sense revenge, and communicate with other animals, through screeches.
• Mind Control: Possessing the body of Cliff Steele, Whiskers used it to avenge his mother by turning him against his friends, especially Jane.^[2]

Abilities

• Stealth: Whiskers managed to enter Cliff Steele's body without him noticing and sneak into the Doom Manor.^[2]
