Sugar is the name of several female characters from the DC Universe. The first to bear this name is Sugar Candy, Etta Candy's mother during the Golden Age. The second and most prominent is Sugar Plumm, an adorable baby who has frequent misadventures with her playmate Spike that was later reintroduced in the Post-Flashpoint continuity as a grown-up private detective. A third Sugar was introduced in Batman Forever, where she is one of the two molls of the supervillain Two-Face, with the other being Spice.
Sugar Plumm was created by Sheldon Mayer, first appearing in Sugar and Spike #1. (1956) Burtonverse's Sugar was created by Lee Batchler, Janet Scott Batchler, and Akiva Goldsman, first appearing in Batman Forever (1995).
