Synopsis for "Enlisted"

In Themyscira, Princess Diana looks after a shell-shocked Steve Trevor. After listening to his tales of war she urges her mother to send in the Amazonian army to join the Allies. Regrettably, the Queen turns her request down, stating the Amazons must focus on guarding their island.

Later Diana eavesdrops Hippolyta talking to her councilors. Steve's execution is scheduled for the next day. Strolling along the beach, Diana runs into her friend Mera. Both friends converse, and that night they break Steve out of his cell. As the three of them sail away, Steve blames himself for dragging Diana into a nightmare.

In Moscow, Kara and Kortni are ordered to surrender. Kara defies their squad's leader orders and fights back, but she surrenders when their ex-leader puts a gun against her sister's head. Kortni begs Kara to fly off and abandon her, but Kara ignore her pleas.

Both sisters are brought before General Arkayn, who demands to know what is Kara and what her powers are. Being aware that her parents' lives hang by a thread, Kara tells how she literally fell from the sky and was adopted, and how she is stronger, faster and tougher than anybody. Arkayn demands more information, but General Fyodora Khulun proposes to take advantage of Kara's powers. The soviet higher-ups come up with a plan to turn Kara and Kortni into pieces of propaganda. Kara does not like working for the Soviets or being a puppet, but their parents will be safe as long as they behave.

In Berlin, Zatanna works as a singer/dancer in a show house owned by the Joker's daughter. While dancing, she realizes one of the patrons is John Constantine, an English spy. Zatanna and John fight, and Zatanna wins their magic duel, turning John into a rabbit. Zatanna doesn't turn him over to the Nazis, though.

After the Nazi officers are gone, the Joker's Daughter praises Zatanna's performance and notes that the "Master" would be pleased. Zatanna is disgusted, but she doesn't dare defy her boss. The Joker's Daughter knows she is Jewish.
