Quote1 Got a warrant on ya, Bill... Dead or alive! Quote2
— Sheriff src

Billy the Kid was an outlaw in the old west.

Billy the Kid was accused of cheating at cards when seven aces were in the deck. A lynch mob dragged Billy out to the gallows tree and strung him up. However, the town sheriff intervened, gunning down the vigilantes. A relieved Billy thanked the sheriff for saving his life, but on confirming his identity, was also shot since there was a warrant out for him, dead or alive.
