Synopsis for "But Bork Can Hurt You!"

This story is reprinted from The Brave and the Bold #81.

When mercenary for hire named Bork arrives in Gotham City and realizes that he's mysteriously invulnerable, he begins a campaign to take over the city, even besting Batman in combat. While Batman is trying to stop Bork and his followers, Batman sends the Flash on a quest to find the source of Bork's power.

Flash finds it in a wooden statue carved into Bork's likeness, however it appears to be equally invulnerable. Running it straight through the sun however destroys it. With the source of Bork's power destroyed, Batman is able to defeat him in single combat. Bork is then turned over to the authorities.

Synopsis for "The Ice Dragon"

This story is reprinted from The Brave and the Bold #5.

During the winter season, Thorvald has his men sculpt a dragon out of an iceberg, and he uses it to scare the people of the fishing village away from the sea. The village will soon run out of food and slowly freeze unless something is done, so When Gunnda sails out to fish on her own, she is captured, forcing Jon to come to her rescue.

Synopsis for "The Forest of Traps!"

This story is reprinted from The Brave and the Bold #7.

Robin and his men learn from local villagers that there is a group of men impersonating them and conducting robberies under their name. He scours Sherwood forest in search of the imposters and finally locates them. The lead imposter challenges Robin to a sword duel and almost gets the better of but Robin overcomes him in the end. They imprison the impersonators and haul them off but surprisingly he and his men run into another group of imposters. This time the lead figure challenges Robin to a quarter staff duel while floating on a log. After some skillful maneuvering, Robin is able to dump the imposter in the river. Robin then continues towards Tynesbury where he runs into a third and final group of impersonators. Robin Hood is challenged to a Bow and Arrow duel in which he successfully wins by pinning his opponents shield to a tree with his archery skills. It is then revealed that all of this was a ploy by Prince John to lure Robin into a trap. Robin escapes by mowing the Prince's men down with a jail cart full of impersonators. He then returns back to the village greeted by cheering crowds.

Synopsis for "Invasion of the Sea Eagles!"

This story is reprinted from The Brave and the Bold #7.

The evil baron Thorvald has trained a flock of large birds to attack the fishing village of Jon, the Viking Prince. When Gunnda is captured in one of the birds talons, Jon follows it back to Thorvald's castle to rescue her.
