Quote1 Look around you. These are results. Crime just stopped paying for these stiffs! The point's simple. Batman is dead... I'm taking his mission to the next level. I'm doing what we should have done years ago, and no one's going to stand in my way. Quote2

Synopsis for "Revenge of the Red Hood, Part Two: Scarlet"

Batman and Robin are standing between Red Hood and the Penguin when the Penguin escapes through the window. Red Hood isn't sorry that he killed the criminals, though Batman considered them a source of information regarding the Mexican cartel, because he thinks the boss won't send anymore men to Gotham after the message he's sent. He is taking Batman's mission to the next level. Robin charges Red Hood and is knocked down, angering Batman who slams Red Hood's head into the ground. Scarlet grabs Robin and threatens to kill him unless Batman lets Red Hood go. Red Hood and Scarlet leave behind a calling card while Batman and Robin track down the Penguin, bringing him to the police.

Alfred is at the penthouse, watching an interview with Oberon Sexton on the news where Sexton defends Batman and Robin for protecting the Penguin. Lucius Fox calls Dick to report irregularities he's found in the Wayne accounts, but Batman says he knows nothing about business and expects Lucius to handle it. Red Hood and Scarlet make an announcement on the TV that Gotham doesn't need crime fighters, but crime killers, and though Commissioner Gordon has released a statement condemning their actions, a poll shows Gothamites are narrowly in favor of the more violent vigilantes. Gordon visits the lone survivor of the Red Hood's massacre in the hospital, and Santo tells Gordon that Flamingo is coming.

At their hideout Scarlet worries about the possible consequences for the massacre, but Jason dismisses her fears because they are going to kill all the enemies they make. Meanwhile, Commissioner Gordon investigates a massacre on the plane that brought Eduardo Flamingo to Gotham. He informs Batman, who blames Flamingo's arrival in Gotham on Red Hood. Batman and Robin track Red Hood and Scarlet to Santo's hospital room where they are pouring bleach into his IV. Red Hood and Scarlet knock out Batman and Robin before the police come and tie them up. They return to their headquarters where after dismissing Scarlet's worry that they were followed Red Hood is shot by a sniper. Scarlet remembers hearing her father and uncle talk about Eduardo Flamingo, a man who fought the mob until his brain was cut apart, destroying everything human in him and transforming him into the eater of faces.
