Calendar Man attends his trial, where in spite of his lawyer's theatrics he is found guilty on all counts. The judge announces that since it is his third offense, he must serve the maximum sentence and Calendar Man will not be released until March 2000. Calendar Man is furious that he will miss the Millennium and dives at the judge. He is stopped by the bailiffs and sent to Arkham Asylum, where he remains until he is freed by Bane.

He goes to Century City, where he is quickly captured by Power Girl. This time he is imprisoned in Blackgate until he is freed by the Quake. His inability to keep track of the days in No Man's Land devastates him, and he is glad when Harvey Bullock arrests him.

He's sent back to Arkham Asylum where he is placed in solitary and the doctors keep the lights on or off for random bursts of time. The therapy is torture for him. He is finally pulled out when his lawyer makes enough of a fuss, and he realizes if he's eligible for parole, then he missed the Millennium.
