Synopsis for "Knights Passed, Part Three: Fathers and Sons"

Batman is investigating the kidnapping of Montae Mickelson, an NBA hopeful whose father faked his abduction to raise his publicity and signing fee. He finds Montae and his father, and he is assisted in their capture by Man-Bat, who is looking for his missing son Aaron. He catches Aaron's scent on the vigilante and attacks the Batmobile, and Batman realizes the sandwich-stealing bat must be Aaron.

Bruce is late to his interview with Felix Desidero. In the meantime, Dick Grayson, Alfred Pennyworth, and Tim Drake answer his questions as honestly as they can. Bruce arrives, and he breaks down into tears after a few questions regarding Jason Todd and his death. Desidero decides Bruce cared for Jason as well as he could, but he warns him to think long and hard before he brings another child into his home.

Aaron explains to his father that he came to came to the Batcave because he wanted Bruce to help him figure out a way to transform into a more human form, but when he discovered Bruce had problems too, he couldn't bring himself to ask. Bruce assures him that his problems are all solved except one, and he offers to do something for the Langstroms if Aaron can convince the bats to come back. Aaron does, and he flies home with his father.

Synopsis for "Sidekick"

When a boy leaves his baby brother on top of the Batmobile with a note suggesting he could be the next Robin, Batman is forced to bring him with on patrol. He spies on a theft in a warehouse and fights the criminals while carrying him, and while he defeats the majority of them, the last standing refuses to fire his shotgun while Batman is holding a child. The baby's mother arrives to reclaim her son with his older brother. Batman tells the brother he already has a Robin.
