- Solution: change page to say that it contains a low-resolution version of the copyrighted icon, where the subject in question (the default Ubuntu desktop) could not be shown with a free alternative (because the default desktop does contain the icon). 82.71.48.158 15:15, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

- I think mozilla allows to use their trademarks as long as they are not attributed to products that are not officialy mozilla. since it's being used here to reference to a version of Firefox that is official, I think it's OK. I also think that they allow free distribution and use, as long as there is no infringement of their trademark. 68.237.54.20 17:53, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
- Take a look at en:Template:Non-free Mozilla logo. The restrictions on the logos are apparently not free enough for the Commons. —Remember the dot (talk) 22:06, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
