Image from http://www.dpd.cdc.gov/dpdx/hTML/Frames/A-F/Enterobiasis/body_Enterobiasis_mic1.htm, the image is contributed (and probably created) by the Center for Tropical Medicine and Imported Infectious Deiseases, Norway, it is not work of the CDC and therefore used by the CDC but not public domain. - The image isn't marked as copyrighted per the CDC website, i.e. there is no copyright notice on the CDC page. I would think this makes it free... but IANAL.
- Is there any one that knows how the Norwegian government treats work it creates?
Deleted. No evidence that image is in the public domain.--Trixt (talk) 18:03, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
